New Tweak Brings iPhone’s Camera App User Interface To iPad

If you haven't updated your iOS 10 device to iOS 11 and save it jailbroken then you can use new Cydia release that brings iPhone’s Camera app user interface to iPad. As you know both these Apple's devices have different Camera app interface look and feel.

The iPad’s Camera app interface is designed to have a larger display, making some tools more readily accessible. On the other hand, many use their iPhone for photography more often and would prefer having the same familiar experience on their iPad.

That's why iOS developer Adel Hammoud released new jailbreak tweak known as iPhone Cam for iPad that brings iPhone’s Camera app user interface to iPad. As the name suggests, this tweak takes the iPhone-style Camera user interface and ports it your jailbroken iPad so that the photography experience feels one and the same across both your devices.

iPhone Cam for iPad tweak is available from Cydia’s BigBoss repo. So visit it and grab the tweak for free. The tweak supports all jailbroken iPads running iOS 10. The tweak doesn’t offers any options for configurations, so once it is installed, you should notice a difference in the way your iPad’s Camera app looks right away. It does away with the side-based controls and moves them to the top and bottom of the screen instead, just like on your iPhone.

What is really great is that the tweak also unlocks the live filters that Apple disables on iPads by default. This allows you to enable filtering options on your tablet without needing third-party apps to perform similar tasks:

If you don't like to the way the iPad’s Camera app looks out of the box, then iPhone Cam for iPad tweak could be a polarizing experience for you. That's why I like both of my devices iPhone and iPad to be jailbroken.
