New Tweak Opens App Switcher To The App That You're Currently Using

New jailbreak release that has recently hit the Cydia does a great job, it opens App Switcher to the app you're currently using. The App Switcher on your iOS device automatically opens to the app you last used upon launch rather than the one you were using when you opened the interface. Known as AppSwitchCurrent (9 % 10), this jailbreak tweak change concept settled by default.

How To Open App Switcher To The App You're Currently Using

AppSwitchCurrent (9 % 10) tweak is not for everyone and the way you use your App Switcher will define whether this tweak will be useful to you or not.

This tweak won't be useful for you if you use the App Switcher as a multitasking tool. In such case your goal is to switch to a recently-used app more quickly rather than bring required to swipe over once you launch the interface.

Though, if you use the App Switcher as a force-quitting tool when apps don’t work how it is expected more often than a multitasking tool, then this tweak will bring you right to your current app, that is more convenient from a troubleshooting perspective.

So if you want to open App Switcher to the app you're currently using then first you need to download AppSwitchCurrent (9 % 10) for free from Cydia’s BigBoss repository and install on your device. Note that you can use this tweak either on jailbroken iOS 9 or on iOS 10 devices.

You can customize AppSwitchCurrent (9 & 10) options from the Settings app after installation:

From there, you can enable/disable this tweak on demand and select where you’re taken when you open the App Switcher from the Home screen.

So if you hate how App Switcher on your device opens to the app you used last, then AppSwitchCurrent (9 % 10) must be definitely useful to you.
