How To Silence Your iPhone Based On Calendar Events

With the new Cydia release installed it can be possible to silence iPhone based on calendar events. There are situations when you can take notifications, and sometimes you just can’t do it. Of course you can use Do Not Disturb tool for this, but it’s not the perfect solution to avoid unwanted notifications as you must manually enable or schedule it, and sometimes you can just forget to do it.

That's where a new jailbreak tweak known as Auto SilentMe brings new notification-suppressing features to your device that will force your device not to push embarrassing notifications when you don’t want them.

So how to silence iPhone based on calendar events with Auto SilentMe. First you should have jailbroken iOS 8, 9, or 10 device as the tweak supports all of these iOS versions. Then go to Cydia’s BigBoss repo, pay $1.99 payment and install Auto SilentMe tweak on your device.

The tweak keeps your iPhone’s sounds and vibrations from going off by using such iOS features like Calendar event detection, Do Not Disturb integration ,Wi-Fi network detection, and more.

Once you install the tweak head over to tweak's preferences pane in the Settings app . From there you can start configure it to the way you use your phone:

It should be noted that you can draw info from any of your iCloud calendars, so you can use Auto SilentMe for work-based events or family-based events; whatever is most convenient for you.

If you’re utilizing the Wi-Fi option, this means you can choose a network on your active Auto SilentMe profile and when your iPhone connected to a network then it will be silence automatically. Useful when you are connecting to your office/professional networks.

The other settings allows you to configure how your notifications will come in assuming the profile is active, which include setting custom volumes and vibration settings. This ensures you have the most undisturbed experience possible when you go where you need to go and do what you need to do. Note that due to the user experience scenarios, volume is reduced to very low level (0.06*).

Auto SilentMe is great tweak for those users who attend school, or aducational establishment, work in professional office environments, but it can be useful for casual usage as well.
