How To Replace Siri With Google Assistant On iOS 10 iPhone

Have you ever wished to replace Siri with Google Assistant on your iPhone? If yes, then in this post we'll show you how to do it. As you know Google Assistant is a personal voice assistant developed originally for Android devices and is considered an upgrade of Google Now. The good news is that Assistant is now available for iOS as well.

Although Assistant can be accessed easily via the Today view, it’s not as convenient as pressing and holding the Home button, which activates Siri. As always is the case, if you’re jailbroken, you can easily replace Siri with Google Assistant on your iPhone. Here is how you can do it.

How To Replace Siri With Google Assistant On iPhone

By taking advantage of a popular tweak known as Activator, you can easily make Google Assistant your default voice assistant.

If you wish to use Google Assistant instead of Siri on your iPhone follow easy steps below.

Step 1: Download and install Google Assistant from the App Store and Activator from Cydia on your jailbroken device.

Step 2: Then launch the Activator app from the Home screen.

Step 3: Click on Anywhere.

Step 4: Under the Home Button section, click on Long Hold.

Step 5: Scroll down to the User Applications section and click on Assistant to select it. Then press on the i button next to it and pick ‘Open App Immediately’ option.

Step 6: Then return to the Anywhere screen and this time launch Short Hold. Scroll down to the System Actions section and pick Do Nothing.

Step 7: Lastly lauch the Settings app and click on Siri. Toggle it off to disable Siri completely.

That's it! Now the next time you press and hold the Home button, it will launch Google Assistant instead of Siri.
