How To Customize The Look And Behavior Of Notification Center In iOS 10

If you have jailbroken device you can customize the look and behavior of Notification Center in iOS 10. A new Cydia release dubbed as Lace by iOS developer Andreas Henriksson brings bulk of different aesthetic and convenience-based options so you can tailor Notification Center to your own specific needs.

Lace jailbreak tweak is available as a free download package from Cydia’s BigBoss repository. The tweak is also open-sourced on GitHub for anyone who’s interested in learning more about what makes the tweak work. It supports all jailbroken iOS 10 devices. So to get started head there and install this tweak on your device.

Once done with installation, navigate to the tweak's preferences pane in the Settings app where you'll find a short list of options to configure. With Lace you can hide the search bar, access today view or notifications page based on which side of the status bar user swipes down from, choose to make the notifications page default when there are pending notifications and more.

While the list isn’t overly-extensive, some of these features, such as automatic page selection based on whether you have missed notifications or not, are really useful. Many of these options aren’t even available in paid packages like Springtomize 4, so you can save you money and get new features for free.

In conclusion I can say that, Lace jailbreak tweak focuses on the Notification Center, giving users more control over its different aspects. Personally I find Lace jailbreak tweak very useful as it lets me customize the look and behavior of Notification Center in iOS 10 the way I want absolutely for free. As you can see having jailbroken device gives you variety of new features and enhancements that you can apply to certain parts of iOS 10 to improve your users experience.
