How To Change The Lock Screen Music Interface Look On iOS 10 iPhone

If your iDevice is jailbroken you can easily change the Lock screen music interface look on your iPhone. Usually when you're listening to song on your iPhone, a set of music playback controls are displayed on the Lock screen along with the song details. Spin is a upgraded Cydia tweak for iOS 10 that completely revamps this interface to bring a modified look. Let's find out how the tweak works.

How To Change The Lock Screen Music Interface Look In iOS 10

Spin10 tweak changes the music interface on the Lock screen to a circular one as you can see on the screenshot below. It turns the album artwork into a circular frame with the progress bar around it. Just like a dial, the music scrubber around the artwork can be dragged in a circular path to scrub through the song.

If you want to start to change the Lock screen music interface look on your iPhone, then you should first install the tweak that is available for $0.99 from Cydia’s BigBoss repo.

Once the Spin tweak is installed, you can navigate to the dedicated preferences pane in Settings where you can start to customize the interface and the features of the tweak.
You can customize the following options:

  • Hide the play/pause button
  • Adjust the position of the playback controls as well as the music scrubber
  • Hide any labels that are displayed within the tweak’s interface
  • Enable landscape support
Since a respring is necessary to save your changes to the settings any time you make them, a respring button is included at the top right of the preferences pane for your convenience.

For those who remember the somewhat rocky start of the original Spin tweak, which was laggy and lacked many desired features, Spin10 is an impressive upgrade with all of the properly-functioning bells and whistles you’d expect.
