New Tweak Lets You Tap Anywhere On iPhone Outside Of An Alert To Dismiss It

Having jailbroken device is always a big fortune and this time a new Cydia tweak called DismissAnywhere allows to tap anywhere on iPhone outside of an alert to dismiss it. Every day you faced with various alert messages that pop up in the middle of your screen. There are different reasons why they appear on your screen, including after an attempt to purchase an in-app purchase or while you try to clear apps from your Home screen.

Normally these alert pop-ups contain both an actionable button and a cancel button. But DismissAnywhere puts a new spin on things by hiding the cancel button and allowing you to tap anywhere on iPhone outside of an alert to dismiss it.

Look at the screenshot above. As you can see DismissAnywhere tweak hides the Cancel button from the alert message, making it look cleaner overall. As the Cancel button is removed there are more space that surrounds the alert. So you have a larger surface area to click on to dismiss the alert rather than having to confine your tap to a small button.

How to get DismissAnywhere tweak. Head over to Cydia’s BigBoss repository and download it for free. This tweak supports all jailbroken iOS 10, 9, and 8 devices and doesn't offer any options for configurations.
It should be noted that at present DismissAnywhere doesn’t work with banner notifications and notification-based alerts, such as those related to text messages, emails, Facebook, etc. As for me its functions are a little bit limited in its current form.

But Demy Kromhof, the developer behind the tweak, notes that he’s working on support for notification-based alerts that he plans to introduce in a future update. This feature to dismiss app notification alerts should make DismissAnywhere tweak more usable for all iOS devices users.
