Those with jailbroken devices can colorize all alert messages to match anything behind them in iOS 10 with new jailbreak tweak called AdaptiveColorAlerts. This interesting Cydia release paints your every alert popup based on the color of the items behind it. Let's find out how this jailbreak tweak works.
How To Colorize All Alert Messages To Match Anything Behind Them
To setup AdaptiveColorAlerts tweak on your jailbroken device navigate to Cydia and download it for free. Once the tweak is installed it will add its preferences pane to the Settings app. There you can easily turn on/off the tweak on demand. Note you done need to respring your device when your put some changes.
On the top post you can see how the look of the screen changed when the tweak is enabled. It basically makes the alert background transparent, rather than opaque and then it adds a heavy blur that sucks in any colors from anything that’s hiding behind it. In this case, that includes colors from the wallpaper, together with the surrounding app icons.
Once you turn off AdaptiveColorAlerts tweak, you’ll immediately start seeing stock-looking alert pop-ups once again. Then, to bring back the modified ones just pick the Enable option.
It should be noted that AdaptiveColorAlerts tweak works inside apps, on the Home screen and in other interfaces throughout iOS. So if you want to change your device look then AdaptiveColorAlerts tweak will colorize all alert messages to match anything behind them in iOS 10.
The tweak supports from iOS 8 to iOS 10 firmware versions, but of course if you’ve using the Yalu jailbreak despite all warning to hold off at this point, you should be careful when installing any Cydia Substrate-based tweaks until the jailbreak is more stable. Users with jailbroken iOS 8 and 9 can proceed as they always do.
