How To Add A Day Night Theme To Toggle Switches In iOS 9

If you are happy with your jailbroken device you can also try new Cydia release that adds a day night theme to toggle switches in iOS 9. DayNightSwitch is a new customization tweak for iOS 9.3.3 devices that changes the theme of the on and off switches in iOS to make them look more fancier and reflect the time of the day.

What the tweak does is that it applies two different themes to the on and off states of iOS switches, one based on daylight and the other for night. When you turn on a toggle, you will notice that the switch turns into light blue color to represent the sky along with a sun and cloud icon on it. On the other hand, if you turn it off, it will have a dark background with a moon icon.

If you want to try this new jailbreak tweak follow the guide below to learn how setup everything.

How To Add A Day Night Theme To Toggle Switches

In order to add a day night theme to toggle switches in iOS 9 head to Cydia and download DayNightSwitch tweak absolutely for free. If you are on iOS 9.2-9.3.3 and you are not jailbroken use Pangu tool to liberate your iPhone and then enable day night theme on it.

Once the tweak is installed, you’ll find a new preferences pane in Settings dedicated to DayNightSwitch. From there, you can apply the day/night theme to the Do Not Disturb toggle only or enable it for all the toggles.

The initial idea behind the tweak was only to affect the Do Not Disturb toggle switch because the little day and night theme is intended to simulate the times of the day that you’re awake or asleep.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper jailbreak tweak if the developer didn’t give you the choice to enable it system-wide if you wanted to, so he threw that option in there too for you viewing pleasure.

After all the changes are made, don't forget to press the respring button to apply all your configurations.
