How To Fix iOS 10 iPhone Apple ID Issue

Many users with two-factor authentication enabled who have already upgraded their devices to the second beta of the latest software update are trying to fix iOS 10 iPhone Apple ID issue they have faced with just after the installation process. All these users claim that they have been locked out of their Apple account. As you know Apple ID account with Apple’s two-step authentication system protection requires both a password and a one-time six-digit code when using iCloud on a new device. And since two-factor authentication is enabled, Apple support is unable to help users to fix iOS 10 iPhone Apple ID verification issue.


One user who have faced with the issue told that he was prompted to enter this Apple ID password by all his Apple devices. And when he entered the password, an error message popped up saying that his account has been locked due to security reasons. Then when he tried to reset his password from Apple’s website, he received a “Server error” and “Your request could not be completed at this time” error.

Not able to fix the problem finally he contacted Apple support to find out how to fix this iOS 10 Apple ID issue. He was informed by a support person that since two-factor authentication was enabled on his account, they could not put his account into “troubleshooting mode” . So he forwarded his case to iTunes engineers.

While Apple support has forwarded the details of the affected accounts to engineers, a solution can take almost a week to arrive. So, if you are already running iOS 10 beta 2 on your device and have two-factor authentication enabled, it is recommended that you turn it off until Apple manages to fix this bug.

Trying to fix iOS 10 iPhone Apple ID issue it was discovered that this problem also touched the stable iOS 9.3.2 release and iOS 9.3.3 betas, so there we can say that this problem was not caused only by the iOS 10 beta 2 update.
