How To Enable WatchOS-Inspired Colored Toggles In iOS 9 Control Center

Those users with jailbroken iDevice can enable WatchOS-inspired colored toggles in iOS 9 Control Center with new jailbreak tweak going by the name Cream. This Cydia tweak brings iOS 9 Control Center toggles to life by applying different shades of color to each of your toggles. So let's see how the Cream tweak works.

How To Bring Control Center Toggles To Life In iOS 9

Step 1. To enable WatchOS-inspired colored toggles in iOS 9 Control Center on your iDevice must be jailbroken. Use Pangu Jailbreak to liberate your iOS 9-9.0.2 device.

Note if you have upgraded your iPhone to recently released software update iOS 9.3.1 then you won't be able to use this tweak as currently this iOS version is unjailbreakable.

Step 2. Now go to Cydia’s BigBoss repo, download Cream tweak for free and install it on your iPhone.

Step 3. Once done, you’ll have to venture to the Cream's preferences pane in Settings. There, you can enable or disable the tweak on demand.

Step 4. The developer behind the tweak has ensured that Cream works with other Control Center tweaks by making it compatible with popular extensions such as FlipControlCenter and Polus. You have to go to preference pane to choose a custom color for your Control Center toggles if you’re using FlipControlCenter or Polus. So you have the freedom to pick the color of your choice and apply it to any of the toggles.

Look at the example below. You can color the WiFi toggle green such that when it is enabled, it will turn to green and when disabled, turns back to grey.

The big advantage is that you’re given a color picker rather than a pre-defined set of colors so you have the freedom to pick any color that you want.

Cream is a great jailbreak tweak that makes your Control Center more attractive and colorful. With colorized toggles you can quickly identify them when you’ve opened Control Center than if all of them had the same color.
