NearbyNews Tweak Displays Siri Suggestions In All iOS 9 Spotlight Interfaces

If you want your iDevice to display Siri Suggestions in all iOS 9 Spotlight interfaces then you should read our post. With iOS 9 release Apple revealed Siri Suggestions as a part Proactive feature in the updated Spotlight interface, which is accessed to the left of the main Home screen page. Siri Suggestions shows you suggested contacts and apps, nearby places. Proactive was definitely one of the most interesting news of the iOS 9, which has led to a fragmentation of the interface of Spotlight. NearbyNews is a new jailbreak tweak that adds suggestions of Proactive even in the interface of the Spotlight that appears when you drag down the Home screen. The “old” interface was retained, but the new features have not been integrated in it. So follow the instructions below on how to setup NearbyNews tweak that brings all new features to “old” Spotlight interface.

How To Enable Siri Suggestions In All iOS 9 Spotlight Interfaces

Step 1. In order to grab NearbyNews tweak your iOS 9 device should be jailbroken with Pangu tool. You should remember that there is no public available jailbreak for devices running iOS 9.2, 9.2.1 or iOS 9.3 beta firmware versions. So be attentive not to update to them.

Step 2. Now go straight to Cydia and grab NearbyNews tweak for $0.99. Once done, install downloaded app on your iPhone.

Step 3. Once the tweak installed you can go straight the older pull-down Spotlight interface and start to use either Siri Suggestions, News suggestions or Nearby suggestions that the new iOS 9 Spotlight interface offers.

In conclusion we can say that with NearbyNews tweak your iDevice will display Siri Suggestions in all iOS 9 Spotlight interfaces. It is very handy functionality for those users who often use Suggestions options, and prefer to use the "old " Spotlight interface either then the newer one released with iOS 9.
