iOS 9 Find My iPhone Feature Improved Implementations

If iOS 9 Find My iPhone feature will get some improvements or not? Since its first introduction with iOS 7 this feature makes it easy to locate lost or stolen iOS device. Due to its popularity iPhones have always been a big target for pickpockets and thieves. But Find my iPhone and Activation Lock features are a powerful theft deterrent.

Unfortunately it is still need some implementations. Because thief can easily turn off your iPhone or remove the SIM, to prevent it from being tracked or let you to remotely delete your data.

That's why many iOS users would like to improve the iOS 9 feature Find My iPhone. Here is small wish list what feature should be improved in the next mobile operating system.

The first option will be connecting the wring passcode verification. In case someone enters the wrong passcode, or if Touch ID authentication fails should be automatic setting record audio after three failed attempts and to take a photograph using the front-facing camera. The iPhone should also record the GPS co-ordinates, and upload the information to iCloud, and also send an email. all these options will be extremely useful in identifying the identity and location of the thief by law enforcement officials.

The second needed feature is the ability to easily sharing this data with law enforcement officials, just the way we can share photos and videos using iCloud Sharing. It would be really great to make complaint online, together the IMEI and Find my iPhone information. This data can be used by law enforcement officials to catch the thief.

The third security wished option is the ability to only users turn off the iPhone after authenticating using Touch ID or entering the passcode. This will ensure that unauthorized users cannot turn off the device.

The above described options will certainly make the iOS 9 Find My iPhone feature a lot more foolproof. Although qualified thief can easily prevent the device from being tracked and also from being connected to the internet, by quickly taking off the SIM. That will make these features useless.

We hope that Apple closes some of the loopholes in iOS 9 to improve the security level of iOS devices.

Next Watch OS Will Gain Find My Watch Feature Release

As the recent report suggest that Find My Watch release will be the next new software update characteristic to Apple Watch OS 1.0.

It is also suggested that next update will gain numerous software and hardware updates are in the works including enhancements to security, connectivity, health and fitness, Wi-Fi feature , third-party app integration.

The report adds that Apple company is preparing major updates for the Apple TV in both the hardware and software departments, including Apple Watch integration.

Apple is said to be working on Find my Watch feature which will let users track the smartwatch's location and remotely lock or wipe the device, if stolen. This feature will be similar to the existing Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac features in iOS and OS X.

If the Find My Watch feature will be implemented in the next update it will even notify you via a light click on your wrist should you accidentally leave your iPhone behind.

Another reported improvement is the ability to remotely lock or wipe your stolen wearable device. The Apple Watch relies on its connected iPhone for GPS and Wi-Fi functionality, but it can also connect to previously stored Wi-Fi networks on its own.

Should a Find my Watch feature make its way into the Apple Watch, Apple might increase the device’s Wi-Fi features in order to let the device be easily located by iCloud even when the iPhone is out of range.

To tackle this issue, Apple will reportedly employ a feature called “Smart Leashing” that will prompt the device to click its built-in Wi-Fi in order to establish its location relative to the iPhone’s last known location.

Apple is also working on the health and fitness features of the wearable. For example, the company is experimenting with ways to have the watch detect an irregular heart beat, and to notify the user. Although, it's unclear if that feature will be launched due to liability concerns and government regulation. The company also plans to add a blood pressure monitor and sleep tracking features in the near future with glucose/blood sugar sensors scheduled for the long term.

As you understood the next Apple Watch OS update will not only gain Find my Watch Release feature but also other enhancements.

iOS 9 Jailbreak Possibility With Apple's Security System Launch

With no so much time for Apple's next operating system launch the iOS 9 jailbreak possibility becomes the actual theme of discussions.

According to reports Apple is working on a whole new level of security for both iOS and the Mac. As it already known the Cupertino giant are fighting against jailbreaking and its new security system will bring a huge and a strong level of protection . Recent reports state that Apple’s upcoming iOS 9 will make it more difficult to jailbreak iOS devices. What is even more it will be nearly impossible to jailbreak an iOS device running iOS 9.

The reason is in Rootless - the kernel-level security feature. This new feature will prevent malware, increase the safety of extensions and preserve the security of sensitive data.

Apple has been plugging exploits in iOS for years, exploits that jailbreakers have historically used to gain access to parts of the system that they would normally not be able to interact with. Apple’s security efforts in iOS 9 appear to be its most prolific since iOS 5. It could make it really difficult or even impossible for hackers to develop the next jailbreaks.

Could it be possible that with iOS 9 the jailbreaking will die?

Nothing can be impossible as there are always group of determined hackers that will find the way out.

Speaking of money and iOS 9 jailbreak possibility, jailbreaking is also a big business. Sure, the iPhone business as a whole dwarfs the jailbreaking business a gazillion times over, but the money that’s to be made from jailbreaking is still nothing for us regular folks to scoff at.

And just the idea of making a large subset of users happy may be motivation enough to drive some hackers. The jailbreak community is large. This isn’t some super-obscure subset of users. Lots of people jailbreak. Being revered by all of those people might motivate some.

The Review Of Real iOS 9 Design Features

It is expected to see the real iOS 9 design at WWDC 2015, because according to rumors Apple will unveil the next mobile operating system. We all have already seen many concepts coming in from fans and design team. And here is iOS 9 features list that users would like to be implemented in next iOS platform.

It is said that Apple will be focusing on bug fixes and stability for iOS 9 and implementation of new features may take a back seat. Apple’s performed broader and deeper quality assurance testing that includes stricter stability and polish guarantees before new control center added to iOS 9. Apple will also plans to go on to reduce the firmware’s footprint on the device’s storage.

Although, the flying in the internet report claims that one visible change that will purportedly be made to iOS 9 will be in the Siri department. The report adds that Siri could be made more colorful as in Apple Watch.

It’s also expected that iOS 9 will come integrated with Apple’s brand new music service. iOS 8.4 software update has already brought the foundations for this music service.

According to a reports, Cupertino giant will replace Helvetica Neue system font in iOS 9 with the new San Francisco font, which is currently being used in Apple Watch OS.

San Francisco was developed by Apple engineers to make legibility less of an issue on a small device's screen. since that time the font has made the jump to the keyboard of the recently launched MacBook and all this means that the move from Helvetica Neue to San Francisco as the system font for both iOS and Mac OS X seems more of an inevitability than a possibility.

The next Apple's mobile operating system will gain one iPad specific features such as side-by-side multitasking, both for current iPads and the rumored 12-inch iPad.

There are several other notable changes that are rumored to be part of real iOS 9 design including Trusted Wi-Fi and apps taking less storage space. The report also says that Apple will gain performance improvement on older devices and a new Rootless security system, which is being described as high level feature for both OS X and iOS. With the last new feature it will probably make iOS 9 jailbreak very difficult to develop.

iOS 8.3 Jailbreak Status Update Info

For those who are waiting for jailbreak solution check this information about iOS 8.3 jailbreak status update that is introduced below.

Apple's launched iOS 8.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3 firmwares patched jailbreak exploits used in Pangu, TaiG, PP jailbreak tools for iOS devices.

As jailbroken devices owners have already known that they don't update their devices to new iOS build until knowledgeable jailbreaking community member will ensure the safety of the update. That's why don't update to any of the newly released iOS 8.3.

The exploits that were used in the Pangu8, TaiG and PP jailbreaks were blocked by release of Apple's iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.2 updates and then later with iOS 8.3. So in case want to keep jailbreak then it’s highly recommended not to go ahead with the iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 or 8.3 update at any cost.

In its support article Apple has outlined all the exploits that it has patched in iOS 8.3. What is more it named the Pangu and TaiG teams for utilizing them. The company has also patched exploits discovered by i0n1c (aka Stefan Esser).

So, in case you’ve stuck on an older jailbreakable version of iOS 8 or iOS 7, it is best to stay there if you want to use jailbreak tweaks and apps from Cydia until a new jailbreak tool is made available for iOS 8.3.

Unfortunately, Cupertino company has also patched another exploit in 8.2 / 8.3 which TaiG was hoping to use to develop jailbreak.

The last iOS 8.3 jailbreak status update is really perspective. As due to recent posted video by i0n1c it will be possible to jailbreak iOS 8.4 beta 1. Hopefully, we will see the next jailbreak release very soon!

DMCA Jailbreak Rules Could Make Jailbreaking Illegal

DMCA jailbreak rules will be one of the topics of Copyright Office triennial that will is organized on May 21.

For those who are not familiar with The Digital Millennium Copyright Act, then it is a United States copyright law that implements two 1996 treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent measures that control access to copyrighted works.

Cydia creator Jay Freeman will be there to fight for iOS devices owners right to jailbreak. But each of us can pledge our support by signing the petition put together by the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It says that millions of people jailbreak the their devices, in order to run the software they want on their own terms. It also adds that jailbreaking is an important part of how we interact with our devices.

But later this month, Librarian of Congress and DMCA can change jailbreak rules. They could decide to make jailbreaking illegal, casting the future of the jailbreak community into jeopardy. If you want to prevent it you need to sign the petition on the EFF’s website.

It is really simple, just enter your email address, full name, and ZIP code. Almost 22,000 people have already pledged their support, but the more signatures the EFF can get, the harder it will be for the Copyright Office and Librarian of Congress to make jailbreaking a crime and change DMCA jailbreak rules.

Jay Freeman, creator of Cydia together with Kyle Wiens of iFixit, Catherine Gellis of Digital Age Defense, and Mitch Stoltz of the EFF will be a proponents at the hearing on May 21.

Bypass Apple Watch Passcode Lock Bug In Watch OS 1.0

According to reports attackers are able to bypass Apple Watch passcode lock. As wearable owners know that wrist-detection on the Apple Watch is supposed to ensure that it will ask for the passcode if removed from your wrist. But as it became known that a thief is able to hack Apple Watch without entering the passcode. As the result, they can pair the Watch with any other iPhone.

Activation Lock protects iPhones from attackers and thieves. It means that in case a thief performs a hard reset of the device, it cannot be reactivated again without the original owner’s Apple ID and password. Unfortunately, the Apple Watch doesn't have such protection, and does not require a passcode to wipe it.

Activation Lock was first introduced in iOS 7 and settled by default in iOS 8. It prevents an iOS device from being activated after being reset without first disabling Find My iPhone. It was a direct response to the alarming amount of iPhone thefts at the time: 25% in New York, 40% in San Francisco and 50% in London. The Apple Watch is theoretically protected by a passcode which has to be entered if the device is removed from your wrist, but an apparent bug let a hard reset be performed without it. And as the result allows thieves to bypass Apple Watch passcode lock.

Unfortunately, the Apple Watch doesn’t have the possibility to set its own dedicated Wi-Fi or cellular connection, so a proper Find My iPhone-like solution isn’t in the cards. Apple can make it in the way the device checks against the Apple ID of the last paired device, and requires the proper credentials before un-pairing with that device.

How to Turn off Notifications on iPhone for Videos [Jailbreak Tweak]

There is a way how to disable video notifications on iPhone running iOS 8 and being jailbroken [learn more about the next iOS 9 features]. Tons of Cydia tweaks let you customize your smartphone the way you want, and there is one interesting jailbreak app that turns off your push-up notifications making video watching less distracting on the iDevice.

After you use this tweak, you will see no banners and other notifications popping on the iPhone display. It doesn’t matter if you watch the videos or play games [you can also block Facebook game requests with Cydia tweaks]. The application you will download on Cydia disables all push notifications on the iOS 8 screen.

How to Turn off Notifications on iPhone for Videos

Step 1. If you are ready to spend $1 on a jailbreak tweak that will remove notifications on your iPhone, you can download NoBanner app on Cydia. It is available in BigBoss repository.

Step 2. The tweak adds the pane to your Settings where you can either turn it on or disable.

Step 3. If you enable the program your notifications will be stopped whenever you are playing a game or watching a video.

Step 4. It is possible to use a Vibrate option that doesn’t display notifications but vibrates each time you get them.

Step 5. It is possible to turn on the tweak through FlipSwitch option.

Step 6. That’s pretty much it.

Of course, you can do the same thing through Settings but it takes a while to disable all notifications one by one. NoBanner does everything much quicker, with a click. You have no headache with banners and notifications and can enjoy seamless experience playing and watching movies and other videos on the ‘fruit’ smartphone.

Sadly, the tweak doesn’t support iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 and 8.3. All these firmware versions are currently non-jailbreakable.

iOS 9 Feature List Contains Control Center Customization

Before the release of Apple's next mobile operating system for iOS devices check this post with major options of iOS 9 features list that users wish Apple to add to iOS 9 that is widely expected to be launched at next month’s WWDC.

The ability to customize Customize Control Center is the major wished feature that users want to be available in iOS 9.

For many iOS devices users Control Center is one of favorite iOS features. But few implementations user wish to add. They are: the limited number of quick launch app shortcuts and toggles, the lack of ability to customize it. And due to multiple users reports they wish Apple finally addresses these limitations in iOS 9.

Currently, Control Center provides you access to 5 system toggles. They are: AirPlane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb and Orientation Lock. It also lets you get quick access to enable the LED flash, which turns your iPhone into a flashlight. It is really handy to get access to all these features from anywhere in iOS without leaving the currently using app. It also has 3 more quick launch shortcuts for the Stop Watch, Calculator and Camera apps.

Except these handy options Apple can make Control Center a lot more useful giving users the ability to customize and extend its functionality. For instance, many iOS devices owners usually use Personal Hotspot and VPN and they would like to access toggles for these from Control Center.

The same applies for quick launch app shortcuts. Some of the users hardly use the Calculator but prefer the PCalc widget instead. So for them it would be nice to be able to launch some of their frequently used apps such as Safari, Tweetbot and Reeder, from the Control Center (rather than having to press the Home button, and so on).

Other users prefer to gain to iOS 9 features list the ability to change the Camera shortcut with that for our favorite Camera app. Additionally, it would be great if user will be able to configure the number of toggles, the order and quick launch shortcuts in Control Center. So instead of static toggles and app shortcuts, users should be able to scroll through them so that we can access more than just 5 toggles or quick launch shortcuts. The ability to order them will let users to configure the device's system based on how often they use them.

Hackers Via Starbucks iPhone App Steal Money

According to recent reports hackers via Starbucks iPhone app steal money from users’ credit cards, banks, and PayPal accounts.

It has been just confirmed that few customers using the coffee-maker’s smartphone app have had hundreds of dollars stolen from their accounts via customer rewards. Hackers hacked iPhone app and stole money.

The app, which allows users to pay at checkout and to reload Starbucks gift cards, has an auto-reload function that makes it easy for hackers to take from users, not needing any account numbers.

Due to fact that the Starbucks app is so widely used, it’s likely the hackers can get the username and password from another service via phishing emails and keyloggers and are successfully able to use it via the Starbucks app.

This could potentially be a big deal, too. According to CNN Money report, Starbucks has revealed in the past that it’s processed $2 billion in mobile payment transactions, and about 1 in 6 transactions at Starbucks are conducted with the Starbucks app. A source told Sullivan that Starbucks has been aware of the issue since early 2015.

Starbucks although, is suggesting that this development has nothing to do with the company accounts being hacked and has not come across any reports of user data being compromised or stolen. Instead, the company believes, it’s those weak and sometimes very standardized passwords that are to blame and customers need to put in some strong and unique credentials in place especially if they have the automatic reloading activated in the Starbucks app.

Due to fact that currently there is no resolution for this problem and hackers attempt via Starbucks iPhone app steal money the best thing you can do is have a strong password and disable the auto-reload function within the Starbucks app.

Cancel Sending iPhone Message Using AirPlane Trick

Of course as every smartphone user you were in situation when you wanted to cancel sending iPhone message or you need to cancel image or video sending because it’s stuck on ‘Sending’ option and taking ages to send the message due to a poor network connection.

So is there a way to cancel a text message on iPhone? Yes this iPhone “cancel send” trick exists and it is really handy.

It is really trick as there’s no direct method to cancel sending a message from the iPhone, and it requires some quick action on the users part. Nonetheless, it absolutely does actually stop a message from being sent if you are fast enough.

How To Stop A Message From Sending On iPhone

How to cancel sending a text on iPhone 4 or any other Apple's smartphone model? The requirements are pretty straightforward: you can only cancel a message while it is attempting to be sent in progress.

This is indicated in the Messages app by recipients name turning into “Sending…” text, and you’ll see a blue progress bar across the top of the screen. As long as “Sending…” is in progress and there is the blue progress bar visible, you can cancel sending the message, here’s how this works on iPhone.

How To Stop A Text Message From Being Sent iPhone

Step 1. Start the work from the iOS Messages app, where message that you want to stop sending is active. This step will apply to all messages attempting to send.

Step 2. While the message is saying “Sending…” in progress and you see a visible blue progress bar for the message trying to send, you need to quickly flip up from the bottom of the screen to launch Control Center.

Step 3. Now click the Airplane icon to enable AirPlane mode. This turns off the iPhones cellular antenna and Wi-Fi radio. This step will stop the message from being sent.

Step 4. Now you need to wait for a moment or two and turn AirPlane mode back off. Then you’ll see the Message that you canceled now will have a red warning text saying “Not Delivered” with an (!) exclamation mark, indicating the message was not sent. It means that you successfully cancel sending iPhone message.

If you see “Not Delivered” option you have canceled sending successfully. If the message says “Delivered”, or just nothing, it probably has been sent. In case you still see the “Sending…” message and status bar is visible, you’ll need to try again to finish the process.

This works great to cancel the sending of image, audio or video messages from an iPhone. It works less well and you have to be lightning speed to cancel a simple text message or iMessage of text, as the data size is smaller in text messages.

iPhone 6S New Features Due To Recent Report

Due to new reports there are some iPhone 6S new features that may just be the biggest “s” upgrades Apple company has ever implement.

Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst suggests that the next smartphone iPhone 7 or 6S (6S Plus) will feature a significant processor upgrade, twice the RAM of its predecessors, improved Touch ID and Force Touch, sapphire display, better camera, new color option, strengthened shell.

The two size options is the thing that would stay the same!

The report suggested that the iPhone 6s devices will boast Apple’s A9 chipset, 12-megapixel rear-cameras, improved Touch ID for Apple Pay and the same Force Touch technology seen on the Apple Watch and Retina MacBook.

The report states that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will have 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM, compared to the 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM seen in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The major difference between DDR3 and DDR4 are the price and the fact that the latter hits much higher clock speeds than the former.

On the exterior design front, Apple will reportedly attempt to avoid a redo of the (overblown) “Bendgate” phenomenon by using Series 7000 aluminum, which is approximately 60 percent stronger than the material used in current iPhones.

Among iPhone 6S new features Cupertino company is said to be planning to market a rose gold color option, again borrowing from the Apple Watch.

The report denies that Apple will ship a 4-inch iPhone this year, instead it will stay at 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions. This makes sense given that Apple rarely changes the form factor for “s” releases.

Ming-Chi Kuo suggests there could be a limited-edition iPhone 6s Plus featuring a sapphire display.

In the end the report say that Apple plans to start production in August. It also suggests that the smaller 6s will be more popular than the phablet 6s Plus and sales will hit from 80 million to 90 million in 2015.

How To Hack Apple Watch To Run It On Browser

It would be great to hack Apple Watch to run it on browser. Isn't it? But it seems that Nicholas Allegra a.k.a Comex have already did it. Apple’s first wearable doesn’t natively allow the loading of web pages. But Comex has posted a video which shows a web browser running on hacked Apple Watch.

It is impossible don't know this well-known hacker Comex. He is a developer of jailbreak tools such as JailbreakMe and Spirit, which were the easiest jailbreaks ever to be launched, as it allowed users to jailbreak their iPhone using mobile Safari.

The Apple Watch doesn’t come pre-installed with Safari. As you can see in the video above, Comex has managed to crack Apple Watch to load Google’s homepage in a web browser.

He also taps and holds on the display to get access to the familiar Copy/Define options. It is not possible to search as a QWERTY keyboard is not available for Apple Watch. As you can see navigate across the webpage on the small screen isn't very practical.

Apple Watch runs Watch OS, which came as a part of iOS 8.2 software update, with a custom UI called Carousel instead of SpringBoard. SpringBoard is the standard application that manages the home screen on the iPhone and iPad.

This video shows the first hacked Apple Watch. Comex didn't mention whether he has managed to jailbreak Apple Watch. But he does point out that Watch OS is based on UIKit already, although the SDK doesn’t let running any native code. But the fact that the effort to hack Apple Watch to run it on browser was successful it shows that it may be possible to jailbreak Apple's wearable it in future.

Download iOS 8.4 Beta 3 Without Developer Account Links

Now it is possible to download iOS 8.4 beta 3 without developer account (direct links are provided below), as Apple has just seeded this beta update. With the 12H4098c build number it can be also downloaded over-the-air by persons running beta 2 or via Apple’s developer portal. Additionally, the company has released the second beta for iOS 8.4 to testers part in the public beta program.

The release comes two weeks after iOS 8.4 beta 2 posted, and almost a month after the original. The timing is also interesting because Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference, where it is expected to introduce the next major version of iOS 9 is just 3 weeks away.

Thus far the first two iOS 8.4 betas had long lists of bugs associated with the new Music app, which Apple has been working to resolve with subsequent betas. Due to the release notes, the third beta includes a few fixes for lingering issues to make the Music app more stable, but there continue to be a long list of known issues with the app.

Siri is not able to control iTunes Radio in beta 4, AirPlay streaming may be broken, Home Sharing and Genius Mixes are not available, and there are stability issues when using Up Next or iTunes Radio. It's also not possible to start a station from a song or artist, deleting an empty playlist can cause crashes, and the Music app may forget its place when exiting to the home screen. In addition to these issues, there are several other remaining problems with the app that will be worked out in future beta releases.

iOS 8.4 beta 3 is compatible with such iOS devices as:
  • iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/5c/5s, iPhone 6/ 6 Plus
  • iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display
  • iPod touch 5G
You can download iOS 8.4 beta 3 without developer account using these direct ipsw links:

iPhone 5S GSM two versions: A1533 and A1453
iPhone 5S CDMA A1528, A1457, A1530 and A1518
iPhone 5c GSM A1532 and A1456
iPhone 5c CDMA A1526, A1507, A1529 and A1516
iPhone 5 GSM A1428
iPhone 5 CDMA A1442 and A1429
iPhone 4S A1387 and A1431

Jailbreakers should avoid upgrading their devices to iOS 8.4 beta as they will not only lose the jailbreak, and unfortunately won’t be able to jailbreak their iOS device.

iPhone 7 Home Button Integrated Into Display Concept

The Apple's company next smartphone iPhone 7 home button will be integrated along with Touch ID sensor into the screen itself due to concept, created by Martin Hajek, designer extraordinaire.

Thanks mostly to its home button, the iPhone needs a fairly large bezel around its display. Retaining current iPhone's ultra-slim form factor, but incorporating some rumored Apple innovations like dual camera lenses, the single most stunning feature of Hajek’s proposed iPhone 7 design is a home button with Touch ID that’s built into the screen itself.

While it’s hard to criticize Apple’s design choices, smaller bezels are thing that many users would like to see from future iPhones. The iPhone 6 Plus is larger than rival devices with 5.5-inch displays — such as the LG G3 — simply because the bezels surrounding its screen are so big.

Thanks to the home button and Touch ID sensor, however, Apple could only make them so small after iPhone 7 release. But this Martin Hajek iPhone 7 concept shows how the device might look like if its home button was integrated into its screen.

The next smartphone also has an illuminated Apple logo on its back, and a new rear-facing camera that boasts two sensors. As it was detailed in recent Apple patents - for better image quality.

With edge-to-edge display and integrated iPhone 7 home button the device looks attractive. But concerning the home button inside the display it looks like it would become a distraction at times, especially when watching movies or TV shows on your iPhone.
