iOS 8.2 TaiG Jailbreak Release Date On March 27th

After public launch more then week ago the question about iOS 8.2 TaiG jailbreak release date is moved to the first position.

TaiG, the Chinese team that developed the TaiG jailbreaking tool for iOS 8.1.2 and iOS 8.2's first couple of betas, could be just about to push a jailbreak solution for iOS 8.2. And with Mobile Security Summit that will take place tomorrow, it could be great chance for jailbreak announcement.

Before the iOS 8.2 launch, TaiG did claim that it had exploits in place that could be used for an untethered jailbreak, but since the software made its way to the end user, the TaiG team has kept decidedly quiet on matters.

In iOS 8.2 release notes Apple company patched some extra exploits that may have thrown a spanner in TaiG’s works. It could indicate that we mightn’t be seeing a jailbreak at any point in the near future. Although iOS hacker and security expert i0n1c has stayted that TaiG could utilize the MSS as a platform to launch its new jailbreak.

Nothing is clear currently, but all jailbreak community will be following the Mobile Security Summit very closely for any big revelations. Although TaiG hasn’t launched a jailbreak yet, but with the MSS being a decent stage to make an announcement, there’s no reason for TaiG to hold on to a develop jailbreak for so long.

So we hope that Chinese team will do all its best and iOS 8.2 TaiG jailbreak release date will be on March 27th. All things will be clear tomorrow.

Best iPhone Cydia Tweaks for iOS 8 [March 2015]

The list of the best tweaks for iOS 8 is growing fast and since Apple released iOS 8.2 [here is how you can download iOS 8.2 on your iDevice to install it using iTunes], devs have more work to do. The new cool jailbreak apps will appear along with numerous updates of previously launched tweaks.

We took some time to mention the top iOS 8 tweaks which can make iPhone usage simpler and faster. Some of the tools are free to download, others costs around a buck.

We have mentioned the free CClean iOS 8 tweak before. It is a popular way to make your Control Center look neat as you can hide some of its elements and play with separators / background making it nicer. If you are a fan of elegant minimalistic looks, this might be a good tool to start with while customizing your iPhone.

There is a one-dollar tweak called Melodic that can become a part of your native Music application. It’s a fast way to share music with your friends via Messages / Airplay. It’s a nice program for music fans.

If you are typing a lot of text messages you might be interested in replacing Return option with Send button on the iPhone. This can be done with a free ReturnToSender jailbreak tweak designed for iOS 8 platform. It has some inner settings you can adjust to make it comfortable to use.

Users who like to sleep longer in the mornings can install the dollar ArithmaticAlarm8 tweak that makes you solve a math equation before you can dismiss your alarm. This can wake up your brains and make your mornings sharper.

There is another way to change the look of iOS 8 Notification Center. Instead of CClean you can use SimpleCenters worth a dollar. This Cydia tweak allows hiding CC and NC elements and also brings minimalistic look to the iPhone.

How To Downgrade iOS 8.2 iPhone To iOS 8.1

Here is detailed guide how to downgrade iOS 8.2 iPhone back to more stable iOS 8.1. Besides that the latest Apple’s mobile software iOS 8.2 has brought forth quite a few new features unfortunately it includes some bugs. In case you faced with some of that issues be it related to battery, Safari or else, as Apple is still signing iOS 8.1, you can downgrade.

Important to remember that this downgrade will not allow you to achieve a jailbreak of any kind. As iOS 8.2, iOS 8.1.3 is not yet jailbreakable, and thus, by reverting to iOS 8.1.3, you will avoid the performance issues that are caused by iOS 8.2 update.

So if you device is still on iOS 8.1.2 and below, it is recommended not to update to iOS 8.2 or iOS 8.1.3.

This guide is useful for only those users whose devices have been updated to iOS 8.2 and need to be downgraded back to more stable iOS 8.1.3. Unfortunately you cannot downgrade iPhone iOS 8.2 to 8.1 version as Apple had stopped signing the firmware.

The iOS 8.2 battery related issues have been well documented, but there are other problems besides that. Safari issue another one, and if you use browser every day, dropping back to iOS 8.1 really help.

As Apple is still signing iOS 8.1 the downgrade is still workable:

Step 1: First thing you need to do is to back up your iOS device to keep in safe your personal data. You can do this through iCloud, or indeed through iTunes.

Step 2: Now download iOS 8.1.3 IPSW specific to your device.

Step 3: Launch iTunes, hold down the Option key (Mac) or the Shift key (Windows) in iTunes, and please choose the Restore iPhone option. Find the IPSW that you downloaded in Step 2, and then select it.

Step 4: Once iTunes has done its job, you should be able to enjoy iOS 8.1 without bugs.

Again, downgrade iOS 8.2 iPhone to the more stable iOS 8.1 is not indefinite, and so if you are having some problems with iOS 8.2, please follow the above guide to avoid being stuck without the choice.

Jailbreak iPhone 6 iOS 8.2 Future Previsions

Here is some portion of information about jailbreak iPhone 6 iOS 8.2. Since Apple company launched iOS 8.2, there is one question is it possible to jailbreak iOS 8.2 devices? Currently there is answer to the above question, it is “No”.

It was possible to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 or lower. Although with iOS 8.1.3 the company blocked exploits which was used by the TaiG jailbreak and PP Jailbreak tools. Apple company also patched another vulnerability in iOS 8.2 update. So currently there are no tools to jailbreak iOS 8.2 or iOS 8.1.3.

Maybe it will be possible to jailbreak iOS 8.2 in future. TaiG team has stated they’re confident of pushing a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 when Apple launches it to public. So we hope that they develop the jailbreak.

Rumors claims that the TaiG team will launch the jailbreak during the 2015 Mobile Security Summit that will take place on Friday, March 27.

There are also reports that hackers have cracked Apple’s Lightning port, which could make it easier to debug kernel bugs, and will help in jailbreak iOS 8.2 or later.

Semaphore, developer of TinyUmbrella, launched a new beta version of his tool. TinyUmbrella let user to save SHSH blobs for your iPhone 6 which will be useful while downgrading. Semaphore is quite confident that you will be able to downgrade in near future. It although seems unlikely that you will be able to downgrade down to iOS 8.1.2 without the SHSH blobs.

So the best way out is TaiG iOS 8.2 jailbreak release, with the possibility of downgrading back to iOS 8.2 with SHSH blobs.

So there are few aspects that give us a hope for jailbreak iPhone 6 iOS 8.2 release in the near future.

Download TinyUmbrella For iOS 8.2 iPhone The Latest Beta

Now it is possible to download TinyUmbrella for iOS 8.2 iPhone, as its developer Semaphore aka notcom, has pushed new beta update for the his tool. TinyUmbrella is the tool that allows you to take a backup of SHSH blobs.

A week back Semaphore had launch TinyUmbrella beta, which was rewritten from ground up and a lot more easier in usage. He has also stated that in the future it maybe possible to downgrade to an older iOS version using SHSH blobs.

With this new beta update, Semaphore has also introduced described details about the changes and improvements in TinyUmbrella which will allow you to downgrade ios 8 device to the previous versions.

Now the tool will gain architecture detection. It means that it will warn user in case iTunes is a different architecture. TinyUmbrella will not be able to detect your device, in case this tool and iTunes are not the same architecture.

This latest build removed race conditions revolving around startup and the handling of files. TinyUmbrella was failing to detect very old (3.x) SHSH formats. The developer has fixed this bug. Semaphore also added device highlighting from SHSH table feature. It means that when you select a signature in the table, the corresponding device is highlighted in the device tree.

Longer TSS Fetch cooldown is important fix as if we hit the TSS servers too fast, their flood detection will kick in and we will earn ourselves a nice temporary IP ban.

The developer also plans to add the on-device SHSH fetching feature for A7 and A8 devices. If you have used the previous version of TinyUmbrella beta to save the SHSH blobs, then you don’t need to use it again. If not, then you can download TinyUmbrella for iOS 8.2 iPhone and save them. Use this link to get the latest beta version of Semaphore's tool.

iOS 8.3 beta 1, beta 2 and beta 3 have revealed that it will include some new features and a number of improvements such as new UI for Emoji keyboard with some new icons, Wireless CarPlay, Google two-factor authentication support, new Conversation List Filtering option and more.

The forth beta for iOS 8.3 brought some new changes. Wireless CarPlay support was removed. Apple company has removed the beta label from iCloud Photo Library. It was previously removed some time back, and then brought back. Message filtering now says unknown senders instead of filtered. Passbook is now divided into sections that are associated Apple Pay cards (top) and passes (bottom).

iOS 8.3 beta 4 is compatible with such iOS devices as:

How To Perform DNS Lookup On OS X Terminal

Let's learn how to perform DNS lookup on OS X terminal. Here is all useful detailed information how to do it.

Being it a website, mail server, or whatever else all such domains are associated with an IP address. Nslookup introduces a simple way to get DNS information and an IP for specific website or domain. But if you want to get significantly more detailed retrieval, you can use the host command.

The host command does an extensive DNS lookup for whatever domain it’s pointed at, which makes it much more useful than nslookup. This can be really useful in different situations, whether to troubleshoot and discover DNS propagation issues or simply to get an actual IP address, CNAME, IPv6 address, or otherwise.

The host command usage is easy, as it is included in Mac OS X and Linux, so you can use it wherever necessary to do a DNS lookup. Command syntax is simple, launch Terminal and just use the following:

  • host [domain]

To get any DNS details you can also use the -a flag:

  • host -a [domain]

For instance, replacing [domain] with google and running host -a on gives an extensive listing of DNS lookup details of multiple IP addresses and mail servers.
Air% host -a
Trying ""
;; Truncated, retrying in TCP mode.
Trying ""
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 64673
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 27, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0
;    IN    ANY
;; ANSWER SECTION:    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    299    IN    A    21599    IN    NS    599    IN    MX    40    21599    IN    TYPE257    \# 19 000714981749824711982818926F6D    21599    IN    SOA 2015031701 7200 1800 1209600 300    599    IN    MX    50    3599    IN    TXT    "v=spf1 ip4: ip4: ~all"    21599    IN    NS    21599    IN    NS    599    IN    MX    10    599    IN    MX    20    21599    IN    NS    599    IN    MX    30
Received 613 bytes from in 98 ms
You will see in the end that the DNS servers utilized for the lookup will be outlined at the same timewithout having to question them directly, even though that's still advised if you want a full list of all the DNS servers a particular machine is using. If they were modified just recently and the data you are seeing does not match what it should, flushing DNS cache can be necessary.

You can also get specific record types with the -t flag, for instance, if you want a CNAME or ANAME, or NameServer (NS) record, the syntax would look as follows:
host -t NS [domain]

To use as an example, querying the name server would result in:
% host -t NS name server name server name server name server
As you see DNS lookup on OS X terminal with the host command, it's a good networking toolkit to use.

Where To Download iPhone Antivirus App To Protect Device

If you don't know where to download iPhone antivirus app here is useful information for you. Read it below.

A new report claims Apple company again is clamping down on the items available within its App Stores. And due this report, Apple has seemingly decided to remove antivirus and antimalware apps from the App Store. However Apple company didn't introduce any official statement on this policy change. Apple’s loose guidelines allow them to pull pretty much anything at any time, particularly something like antivirus which has questionable utility within the sandboxed iOS environment of iPhones and iPads.

It is noted in the report that some apps are still showing up when a search is run within the App Store for “antivirus”. Although after further inspection introduces that these apps are games not actually anti-virus products, and some are apps replicating the Find my iPhone feature within the “mobile security” section.

Truly say, App Store search is not the most comprehensive test . But many antivirus apps have definitely been removed, if not all. Many of the true antivirus apps have been erased, including “Anti-Virus Detector.”It is no longer available however it is unclear exactly when this year the app was removed. It was last listed in December. A number of other previously available apps with a similar description are no longer available either.

Perhaps it’s a longtime coming, considering the sandbox nature of iOS apps for Apple’s mobile products, but the move is certainly abrupt if it is the case.

iOS 9 Concept Reveals Interesting Features and Changes

The next major mobile firmware update from Apple is expected to unveil in early June at WWDC where developers and public testers will get the first beta of iOS 9. Right now the company has just upgraded iOS 8.3 beta 3, but designers already share their iOS 9 concept videos to let their imagination reach iPhone and iPad users.

Right now we don’t have too many iOS 9 rumors because most users and experts are closely following the news about Apple Watch release. It’s hard to write about iOS 9: what to expect right now because there are no official statements and all the information will be revealed in mid-2015.

At the moment, we can share the iOS 9 concept created by Ralph Theodory. The changes he is trying to introduce look nice and they might make the mobile experience for ‘fruit’ gadgets much nicer.

You can watch the video with the concept by Theodory:

Apple always has its own vision of its firmware for mobile devices. It will surely improve its iOS 9, optimize it and build in some new features and options to wow customers. This company likes to keep secrets and make customers curious on what it is doing and how it can impress the market.

How do you imagine the next iOS 9?

iOS 8.2 Jailbreak Release Date Is May Be On March 27th

It is very interesting question when iOS 8.2 jailbreak release date. After Apple company blocked the 8.2 jailbreak, and the iOS 8.2 public release with multiple iOS 8.3 betas there is no next jailbreak yet.

Cupertino company launched iOS 8 on September 2014 and after a month - iOS 8.1. Just two days past after release the Pangu team had pushed a jailbreak for both firmwares.

Unfortunately, with iOS 8.1.1update Cupertino giant effectively patched the Pangu jailbreak exploits. But another TaiG jailbreak released at the same day and saved the situation. That jailbreak not only worked for 8.1.1, but also with 8.1.2 software version.

At that time the TaiG jailbreak utility was only available for Windows users. On January 18, the PP jailbreak software for Macs was accepted to jailbreak devices that run iOS 8.1.2 software version. Then Apple launched iOS 8.1.3, and once again blocked everything.

And now there’s no information about when 8.2 will be jailbroken. Due to fact that iOS 8.3 already being tested by developers we won’t be seeing anything new for some period of time.

Happily Semaphore pushed a beta version of his TinyUmbrella downgrade-aiding tool. This TU launch will help to manually downgrade to jailbreakable firmware on our iOS devices.

Another good news are that the TaiG team has announced about ‘Mobile Security Summit,’ that will take place on March 27th. Rumors say that the TaiG group can launch a new iOS 8.2 jailbreak on that event.

Nothing is clear. At present time, there is no public iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 or 8.3 jailbreak available for users.
In conclusion, the future of jailbreaking looks bright, due to fact that there are many Asian jailbreak teams that work on exploits. So iOS 8.2 jailbreak release date can be even on March 27th.

How to Bring New Look to iOS 8 Notification Banners [Jailbreak Tweak]

Are you tired of the old look of your iOS 8 notification banners? Now as you already know how to hide unwanted elements in Notification Center you should also learn that it is possible to make it alive and change its fashion. Your iPhone knows a lot of tricks when you download iOS 8 notification tweaks that can make banners dynamic and cute.

If you are interested in changing the incoming notification banners you can download special notification banner tweak called DathBanners. It will play with the background colors making messages different since the color depends on the app you get notification from.

Jailbroken users risk nothing while trying this Cydia BigBoss repository tweak since it is free of charge. Once you install it, you will be surprised at the colors you see on your screen. For example, if you get Twitter notification with the tool installed the banner’s background will be of blue color, but the notification from Messages will color it green.

The Cydia addition is simple and doesn’t bring any configurations. Just install it and start seeing the colorful banners on the iPhone or iPad. Such changes make the information look dynamic and bright.

How to Create Separate Albums from Screenshots on iPhone iOS 8 [Jailbreak Tweak]

Being jailbroken gives you some cool benefits ordinary users don’t have. The list of iOS 8 jailbreak tweaks is really long and has tons of curious titles that can make your iPhone experience better. For example, there is an iPhone screenshot tweak that can make albums for your screenshots and won’t mix them with other pictures in your Camera Roll. If you need such an option, take a look at the new tool offered in Cydia.

The package is free to download. You can search for AlbumShot in BigBoss repo and install this no-cost iOS 8 tweak on your iDevice. This is must-have program for users who make a lot of screenshots on their Apple smartphone and wish them to be combined in a folder.

It is cool that the tool doesn’t just create one album for all your screenshots, but it places all the screenshots taken from one app into a separate album. This happens for each application you are working with.

When you create album from screenshots on iPhone with AlbumShot, it will name each album by the title of the app you are using. For example, users who make screenshots of Safari will find a folder ‘Safari’ with all the images inside.

This simple, free and unique iOS 8 Cydia tweak has no configurations. Install it and it will be working right away. You can’t disable some albums and work in a single album because this is not how the tool was developed.

You can find your screenshots in albums in iOS 8 Photos program. The new folders will appear in the bottom of this app.

Apple Store Outage Caused Problems in Offline Retail Stores Globally

This week began with a big announcement made by Apple. The company rolled out iOS 8.2 update which you can download online and presented its new wearable product called Apple Watch. This smartwatch will do a lot the iPhone does. It will be released in April with pre orders being taken as early as April 10. The announcements were followed by a long Apple Store outage which caused issues both online and offline.

The information about Apple Store down problems worried users who wished to purchase or update apps through the App Store or iTunes store but received error message or saw a blank page instead.

This very same problem with Apple Store not working online lead to problems offline. As reports state, some retail stores couldn’t work because the company’s systems were down. As Apple later reported, the issues appeared due to the DNS outage. While online users suffered from not being able to sign into their accounts and make online purchases, employees in European App Stores that work offline couldn’t make sales, check in to work and do other duties. They were only able to talk to consumers and answer calls of a lot of frustrated users who didn’t like the outage.

It took the iOS giant about 11 hours to fix the issue. Apple apologized to its customers.

How to Install iOS 8.2 on iPhone Using iTunes [Instruction]

The whole iOS 8.2 installation guide is rather simple. Some users have already updated via OTA directly from iPhone or iPad, but since there were too many people who wanted to upgrade Apple servers might have been too busy to let everyone who wished to install iOS 8.2 do so as this firmware has the Apple Watch app. If you haven’t upgraded yet but still want to run this firmware version, you can follow our guide that asks you to use iTunes.

How to Install iOS 8.2 on iPhone

Just as we said above, this process is simple and fast. Follow the step-by-step instruction and you’ll get all the new features and bug fixes offered by 8.2 update. Remember that if you are jailbroken you will lose jailbreak after this installation. There is no way you can untether at the moment because Apple patched the exploits used by Chinese hackers [TaiG and PP Jailbreak] and these teams haven’t released a new solution yet.

Step 1. Before you use our update to iOS 8.2 instructions you should backup using iCloud / iTunes.

Step 3. Recheck and make sure your iDevice is supported by the new firmware. It can run on any iPhone starting with the iPhone 4S and up to 6 Plus, iPod touch 5G only and all iPad mini and iPad Air models. iPad users can install it on the tablet starting with iPad 2 and later.

Step 4. Use a USB cable and plug in the mobile device to your computer.

Step 5. Launch iTunes.

Step 6. When iTunes detects the smartphone or tablet you have you can click on your iDevice icon. You can find it in the top menu next to iTunes Store.

How to Replace Return Key with Send Option in iOS 8 Messages Tweak on iPhone

Most users who rarely need the Return option in Messages application while typing a text message might like to replace Return key with Send button to make it faster to respond to your friends [we earlier shared a longer list of different tweaks for Messages app]. Using iOS 8 Messages tweak, it is possible to apply such changes on the iPhone that has been jailbroken.

The iOS 8 Messages customizer you can try is currently in its beta stage. It is called ReturnToSender and it can change Return key on iOS 8 with a useful option. You can get Send feature instead to make message delivering quicker as you will not have to reach out to your original Send button.

How to Change Return Key in iOS 8 Messages

Step 1. If you are interested in getting this Messages, on of the best tweaks from Cydia, you have to add a new repo before you are able to find the program.

Step 2. Now, as the new repository is in your Cydia list, you can search for ReturnToSender tool, download and install it.

How to Easily Scroll to the Bottom of iOS 8 Page [Jailbreak Tweak]

Did you know that it became possible to use Status Bar on iOS 8 in order to scroll down and up the page? The huge choice of iOS 8 Cydia tweaks lets iPhone and iPad users select different tools and even get to the top / bottom of the page with a simple tap.

In order to scroll to bottom of Page in iOS 8 you can download and install Skrollerz tweak. This free Cydia jailbreak app can be downloaded from BigBoss repository. It works with the shortcuts you can create for fast scrolling to the top of a page using Status Bar by adding an option to also scroll down.

Once you install the tweak you will be able to turn it on and off in Settings’s new pane with preferences for Skrollerz. Users can assign right and left sides of the Status Bar for scroll directions. Configure what you wish to use and start enjoying the tweak.

When you tap on the center of the Status Bar nothing will happen if the tweak is enabled. You should tap once on the left or right in order to scroll to the top or bottom of a page [depending on what you have assigned].

How do you like the new shortcuts and the way they work?

If you have a jailbroken iPhone you can install one cool tweak from Cydia. It is free to download. The program is known as TypeStatus. The guide explains what it does and how it works on the iDevices.

How to Add iMessage Typing Indicator to Status Bar

Step 1. Install TypeStatus on the iOS 8 iPhone. Remember that you can only get it from Cydia’s BigBoss repo.

Step 2. Launch Settings. You will see a couple of extra features here. Firstly, you are able to turn off chat bubbles / email address from appearing in your Status bar. Secondly, you can turn off the typing status indicator so that it doesn’t show up when you are inside Messages.

Step 3. Adjust the settings to how you like.

Step 4. When the tweak is enabled you will see if anyone is typing you a message at the moment in your Status bar. The program also shows the name of a person who is writing an iMessage to you.

Notes. The tweak displays the typing indicator for 5 seconds. It then hides it in order to not frustrate users. You can see this indicator on the Lock and Home screens and also inside applications which make your Status bar visible.

According to Apple, it has secured its new firmware. Is it possible to jailbreak iOS 8.2 right now? No, it is not. There are no programs from Chinese and American hackers and we don’t know if they can find a solution this time or how long it might take them.

The ‘fruit’ giant reported that is patched six flaws in security of iOS 8.2. The flaws included iCloud Keychain, CoreTelephony, IOSurface, Secure Transport, MobileStorageMounter and SpringBoard.

MobileStorageMounter was used in TaiG jailbreak tool, and Apple has killed it for now giving a credit to the Chinese TaiG team of hackers that discovered this bug. PP Jailbreak security vulnerability was also patched.
