How To Jump Directly To Particular Folder With Activator On iOS 9 iPhone

For those users who have jailbroken their device there is a trick to jump to a particular folder with Activator in iOS 9. New jailbreak tweak called FolderJumper allows your to instantly access a SpringBoard folder just by using an Activator gesture.

So if you have groups of some apps placed within a folder that you frequently use, then follow the tutorial below on how to make accessing those apps easier. But before you proceed note that if you have already updated your device either to iOS 9.1 or iOS 9.2 firmware versions you won't be able to get this tweak as currently both these platforms are unjailbreakable.

Step 1. First jailbreak your device with Pangu tool for iOS 9-9.0.2 devices.

Step 2. Now go to Cydia and download FolderJumper tweak for $1.99.

Step 3. Once the tweak is installed, navigate to the stock Settings app and find the preferences for FolderJumper. Here, you can add a folder to the Match List, which basically consists of you providing the name of the folder that you wish to link to using an Activator gesture.

Step 4.Once a folder name is provided, simply click on the name to assign it to a specific gesture. For example, you can assign a double tap of the status bar to the Extras folder located on your Home screen.

Step 5. There is also a little addition to the gesture assignments. You can find a couple of folder animation modifier toggles at the top of the tweak’s preferences. You can use them to change the look of the folder animation.
