Download And Install Jailbreak iOS 9 For Mac

Good news for those users who were waiting, now you can download jailbreak iOS 9 for Mac, as Pangu team has just launch its tool for Mac users. It means that even if you only own a Mac, you can now jailbreak your device that runs iOS 9.0, 9.0.1, or 9.0.2 firmware.


Check these important tips before you proceed:

Pangu 9 jailbreak tool does not support iOS 9.1firmware. Apple has patched the jailbreak exploit used in current Pangu version in iOS 9.1.

How To Install Pangu 9 using Mac OS X

Step 1: Download the Pangu jailbreak latest version for Mac via this direct link.

Step 2: Connect your device to your Mac via the USB to Lightning cable.

Step 3: Use iTunes latest version to take a backup of your device. After you’ve taken the backup, close iTunes. Also close Xcode if you’ve it open.

Step 4: Now disable Passcode (Settings > Touch ID & Passcode), turn off Find my iPhone (Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone), and also enable Airplane mode feature.

Step 5: Launch Pangu 9 you had downloaded in step 1.

Note, in case you get an error message saying “Pangu9 can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer”, then right click on the Pangu9 icon, and click on Open in the menu options, then click on Open button.

Step 6: Now Pangu will detect your device. It can take some time and once it is done, tap on the blue Start button.


Step 7: To continue, click on Already Backup button.


Step 8: At around 55%, your device will be rebooted.

Step 9: Then it will prompt you to unlock your device, and turn on AirPlane mode again.


Step 10: You will be asked to unlock your device and launch the Pangu app that has been installed on it. Do so.

Step 11: You will be asked to give permission to Pangu to access your photo library. This is a necessary step to the jailbreak process. Accept this request.

Step 12: Wait for the progress bar to finish. Your iDevice will reboot.

Step 13: Once the jailbreak iOS 9 Mac download and installation process completes, you will receive “Already Jailbroken” message. You should see the Cydia icon on the last page of the home screen on your device.

And you’re done. Congratulations, you’ve just jailbroken your iOS 9 device using Pangu 9 for Mac. You can now enjoy everything Cydia has to offer.
