iOS 9 Jailbreak Exploit Patched By Apple Latest Update

Here is another news for jailbreakers that one more iOS 9 jailbreak exploit was patched by Apple company with the release of its latest mobile OS update. Along with iOS 9 new features and improvement launch for iDevices, Cupertino based company has also published a new knowledge base document, providing the security content of the latest mobile OS software update.

The knowledge base document outlines that Cupertino based company has also patched one security exploit in the latest iOS update, and have credited “Pangu team and the TaiG Jailbreak Team” for discovering the security flaw.

As it is already known fact, Apple company had patched several vulnerabilities in iOS 8.4.1 used by the TaiG team in the iOS 8.4 jailbreak. At present time there is no clear confirmed evidences to state that this is the same exploit in iOS 8.4.1 which was confirmed by Pangu team just last week to have been patched in iOS 9 GM version.

But, the good news is that iOS 9 has already been jailbroken. While patching of yet another hole that could have been used for jailbreaking, few days back, iH8sn0w, popular developer of jailbreak tools such as Sn0wbreeze, P0sixspwn has posted a video that demonstrate jailbroken iOS 9 device.

Reportedly, he doesn’t plan to release this recently outlined jailbreak to public. So the only thing we have to do is to wait for Pangu or TaiG team to discover the vulnerabilities to jailbreak iOS 9. But the fact that it can be jailbroken indicates real prospect that a iOS 9 jailbreak could be launched a lot sooner than the jailbreak for iOS 8 was released.

iOS 8 jailbreak was launched more than a month after it was public release. Hopefully, this iOS 9 jailbreak exploit patched by Apple company will not be stand in the way of the next jailbreak tool development.
