iOS 8 music fans get often frustrated when they get an app notification which results in music volume reducing on the iDevice. Is there a way how to fix Messages notifications low iPhone music problem? You can follow the instruction below and solve everything using one popular Cydia tweak. This guide is short, simple and it works.
Apple made notifications low iPhone music controls to let user know that he has an incoming alert. But this effect can be turned off if you don’t like to be interrupted while listening to your favorite music tracks and tunes. You should be jailbroken in order to use this method [here is how to jailbreak iOS 8.4 and 8.3 with TaiG].
How to Stop Notifications Lowing iPhone Music VolumeStep 1. If you are jailbroken you can launch Cydia store on your iPad or iPhone.
Step 2. You need to download / install iFile tweak.
Step 3. The program should appear on your Home screen.
Step 4. Launch iFile.
Step 5. It is required to open the directory that says System/Library/Frameworks/MediaToolbox.framework and proceed.
Step 6. Do you see the .plist file that is named SystemSoundLowersMusicVolume? Click on it.
Step 7. You have to select Property List Viewer option.
Step 8. Go down through the list to find SMSReceived_Alert. Have you found it? You’ll have to use new value 1 instead of 0.1 as it used to be. This affects the music volume while you get the notification. It will be louder.
Step 9. You’ll have to reboot to apply the changes.
