How to Install San Francisco Font on iPhone [Jailbreak Tweak]

Apple Watch has the special San Francisco font Apple developed for its wearable and might bring to the next iOS 9 firmware version. If you don’t want to wait until the operating system update you can get San Francisco font on iPhone right away – if you are jailbroken. There is an iOS 8 Cydia tweak you can use.

Users who are running iOS 8.1.2 and earlier versions of 8 platform can still jailbreak with TaiG on Mac and Windows. Everyone who is using a later version cannot do this at the moment because hackers haven’t found a way how to jailbreak iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 and 8.3 yet. Follow the instruction below and you will find the new special font on your iDevice [Mac owners can also get the font for their computer].

How to Install San Francisco Font on iPhone, iPad

Step 1. The first thing you should do is find and download the font. Cydia store has a cool repo http://dbk1ng.myrepospace.com which can be added to the sources on your iDevice.

Step 2. Once the repo appears on your list you are able to find San Francisco iOS8 font file and install it on your tablet or smartphone. Please note that the file will weigh nearly 20MB.

Step 3. Use Cydia to download BytaFont 2 tweak.

Step 4. Launch BytaFont 2 and click on Basic option in order to install your new interesting font.

Step 5. Select San Francisco iOS8 font.

Step 6. Wait till your iPhone or iPad resprings.

Step 7. The font system should now appear on your iOS 8 gadget.

Do you like San Francisco font? Users who don’t want to install this particular font will stay with their Helvetica Neue that is also great and looks so familiar. Owners of the Watch might still like to go with the tweak and secretly update to Apple iWatch font before it becomes public for all iOS users.
