Best Apple Watch Tweaks That Jailbreaking Will Bring

If the brand new Apple smartwatch will be jailbroken, several best Apple Watch tweaks are wished to be developed by hackers.

Officially launched just last week, there many talks about jailbreaking Apple Watch, the new wearable device. Watch OS 1.0 won’t let users do things like use custom watch faces, or run native apps. Many users would like to add some other features they think are required for easier Watch usage. Jailbreaking eventually let users open all that possibilities.

Custom watch faces is one of best Apple Watch wished tweaks. Currently Apple only allows wearable owners to choose from and customize its stock watch faces. Jailbreak will bring huge variety of watch faces to refresh the Watch look. Huge variety of Watch faces will be great, but what about full-fledged custom themes that will allow you to change the look of the entire interface, icons and all.

Of course it will be also better to run apps natively on the Apple Watch instead of beaming information between it and an iPhone. The major reason is speed. Due to reports from Watch owners that speed is, at times, hard to come by. Running apps natively would fix the speed issue. Just analyze the example. You can’t do that without a paired iPhone near, as you can’t store audio files on the wearable outside of a synced Music app playlist. The jailbreak will change that.

As with all new iOS updates there are problems with battery life on iPhones, with Apple Watch there is the similar issue. Complaints that we’ve heard in early reviews has to do with the Watch timeout settings. To save battery life, the Apple Watch can be overzealous when it comes to timing out the screen. Jailbreak will let users customize the time out settings to a finer degree.

It would be great to develop tweaks that will allow execute Activator actions via smartwatch. Just imagine how it would be great to use Activator handy tool on wearable for quick shortcuts to apps and toggles. It’s thousands of jailbreak tweaks for good reason, and it allow you to perform impressive iOS automation on its own.

Due to several reviews the Apple Watch’s haptic feedback abilities are a bit lacking. The running theme is that it’s at times hard to feel when the Taptic Engine is trying to get your attention. With a jailbreak, the potential is there to up the intensity of the Taptic Engine, and increase the feedback rate. Jailbreaking also opens up the possibility of assigning custom haptic feedback patterns to specific notifications.

The other one of the best Apple Watch tweaks should play audio directly from the Apple Watch speaker. While it’s true that you can listen to phone calls from the Apple Watch speaker. But unfortunately you can’t listen to music or podcasts via the device’s built in speaker and for many users it is really cute disappointment.

If you have already get your new Apple Watch you may notice that there is no web browser like Safari on its Home screen. Safari is on all iOS devices, but not on wearable devise. The reason is clear: the screen is too small, it’s too battery demanding, and no one wants to hold their wrist up for long time while to navigating web pages. But the rebuttal to that argument is just as obvious: we want it just because we can. And with jailbreaking the situation would probably change.
