Waterproof Apple Watch Release Schedule Confirmed by Tim Cook

The new Apple Watch will be waterproof. Such information has been unveiled recently. Apple CEO Tim Cook Apple Watch confirmation message mentions some details about this device that a lot of users didn’t know about. Showerproof feature is one of them.

Apple Watch water resistant option is must-have because it might become a real fitness tracker gadget. As reports say, according to Cook, Apple Watch that should run iOS 8.2 is waterproof to the point when you can wear it 24/7, even in the shower. The company’s CEO says he wears his wearable all the time and doesn’t take it off to take a shower.

The new Apple Watch that is proud to have awesome design thanks to Sir Jony Ive should also feature a rewards system for exercising. As Cook believes, this new product will be just like the iPhone. At first, customers won’t find a lot of reasons to purchase it, but they will eventually end buying it.

The wearable will tell its owner when to go for a walk after sitting for too long or do other goals planned for the day. Anyone who meets the exercise goal will be awarded by the system.

We still don’t know how good the gadget’s battery is. It seems to last only one day on one charge, as Cook says he has to take his Watch off every night to charge the battery.

There was news about Apple Watch release date before. Tim Cook has once again confirmed it saying that this new product will be shipped in early April.

The wearable will be sold sometimes between April 6 - 10, 2015. This will be nearly a month after the ‘Spring forward’ event Apple initiates for March 9, 2015.
