How to Create Nested Folders in iOS 8 [Instruction]

If you haven’t jailbroken your iPhone and cannot download and use iOS 8 nested folders tweak but still wish to create folders within folders on your iDevice, there is a simple method how to achieve this without jailbreak. Apple has left the bug in its firmware that allows users playing with folders and it is present on at least iOS 8 and 8.1 versions. With iOS 8.2 being just around the corner, we still don’t know if this OS gets the bug fix or not.

The process is rather simple and doesn’t harm your smartphone. Follow the instruction to make it happen and organize your folders to your personal taste and likes.

How to Create Nested Folders in iOS 8

Step 1. Launch Settings app.

Step 2. Go to General menu and choose Accessibility.

Step 3. Enable Reduce Motion option on your smartphone.

Step 4. With the Reduce Motion being turned on you can move your primary folders to your iOS dock. These will be the folders where you wish to add another folder inside.

Step 5. Choose any icon on iOS 8 Home screen and long press on it until it becomes possible to move it around [you can also learn how to move multiple app icons at once]. You should continue to repeatedly click on your primary folder waiting for your iPhone to stop struggling with your actions. It’s not over yet. You have to now quickly click – hold your secondary folder and it will be moved inside your primary folder as soon as your iPhone catches up with you.

Step 6. After you move folders the way you like you should exit this customization mode in iOS 8 firmware.
