Top Chinese Sales Include iPhone 6 by Apple and Xiaomi Devices

The news about impressive Apple sales in China make its rivals jealous. This is understood as it was Samsung that got the grasp over the cell phone market in this Asian region for a long while, and now Xiaomi and the Cupertino-based giant are two leaders and they are getting more and more fans and customers.

According to different February reports, the 2015 is a great year for Apple in China. The last quarter of the previous year brought over 107 million smartphone units to this country. Xiaomi was leading this fight and the results of Apple in China 2014 were also incredible. Samsung didn’t do that good even though it shipped over 420 million smartphones in 2014 in total.

As the sales figures prove, Xiaomi and Apple show year-over-year growth in 2013 and 2014 as consumers choose these two brands more often than others.

The iPhone giant manages to rise from 5 to over 12 percent of marketshare in the end of last year. Xiaomi jumped from 6.5 in 2013 to 13.7 percent of market share in 2014 which is way too awesome for such a company. Still, as numbers reveal, its position fell a bit with the iPhone 6 launch and popularity. The company got 13.7 percent in Q4 instead of 14.8 percent of marketshare it had in the Q3.
