How to Launch Up to 8 Apps from iOS 8 Lock Screen [iPhone Jailbreak Tweak]

It is often fun to launch apps right from Lock screen on iPhone running iOS 8 [you can easily access all iPhone applications at once using one tweak]. iDevice users who would like to do such a thing should first download the free Cydia tweak for iOS 8 platform, install it and learn how to use it though most jailbreak apps are simple to use and have an easy-to-understand interface and cool features.

There is a program known as BerryC8. It is free of charge and it is available on the BigBoss repo on Cydia. Since it is free to download, you can check it out without having to pay anything for being able to launch app from Lock screen on iOS 8 device.

The tweak has been created with the Touch ID support. It can offer you seamless experience and allow launching your favorite programs when you are locked.

How many apps can you launch from your Lock screen on iPhone after you install iOS 8 tweak BerryC8? The devs allow the support for up to 8 applications which you can open right from your lock display which can show you 4 apps at a time with the possibility to swipe from right to left and get to the second page with another 4 applications.

How to Launch Apps from Lock Screen on iOS 8

Step 1. Launch Cydia and download BerryC8 for free [go to BigBoss repo for it].

Step 2. Install the tool and you will find a new pane in Settings that can be configured to your taste.

Step 3. Go to Settings to enable the tweak.

Step 4. You will see the App Shortcuts feature where you can add your favorite programs to be later able to launch them from your Lock screen.

Step 5. Click on Respring to apply the changes.

Step 6. Now when you wish to launch an application while staying on your Lock screen [if your iPhone is Touch ID-enabled] you have to hold a finger on the program you are planning to launch with the help of the tweak and drag it down to the bottom of the display. When you reach to end of the screen you have to move your finger right to your Touch ID where you can complete two things at once: unlock your gadget and launch the application.

Users whose smartphone doesn’t support Touch ID option but use the passcode lock feature will have to enter their passcode whenever they are going to launch an app from the Lock screen.

What do you think about such a jailbreak tweak for iOS 8 firmware?
