Apple iPad Sales Decline Year Over Year

Apple iPad sales decline report has been shared by research companies. This iOS 8 firmware tablet device slowly experiences decline since it was released in 2010. The situation changes each year, and even though Apple had over 28 percent of market share in the end of 2014 when the company shipped over 20 million of tablets across the world, the results of the Q4 weren’t impressive.

iPad sales decrease is seen in the fourth quarter and they are experienced overall on the tablet market in different countries worldwide ever since 2010.

Apple and Samsung are the two world leaders when it comes to tablets. They both see how the sales slowly going down while the smartphones are becoming more popular and the demand on them doesn’t decline.

iPad Sales Down

It is worth noting that while Apple faces decline in its iOS tablet, the worldwide tablet shipments have actually increased in 2014 compared to 2013. There are a lot of players in the market, including Samsung, Amazon, Lenovo and Asus. But the market relies on iOS giant and Samsung.

Right now even the low price of $249 for the iPad lineup can’t spur its sales as customers go for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iOS company is still optimistic about its products and it continues to push both iPhone and iPad in China and other promising countries mostly in Asia even though its iPad shipments have declined by over 4 percent in Q4 2014 compared to the same period in 2013.
