iTunes Connect Issue Experienced by U.S. Users

iOS developers experience iTunes Connect error. The first report about this issue surfaced soon after Apple released iOS 8.1.3 update and the new iTunes 12.1 version. According to devs, iTunes Connect problem that appeared in early 2015 makes it impossible for some of them to access this platform.

It seems that the iTunes Connect issue is widespread. A lot of professionals say that they are not able to use the portal created by Apple specifically for devs who wish to manage their app content that is sold in the official App Store.

Since the problem is faced by different developers, Apple will soon fix it. Some of these devs have popular iOS 8 apps and games in the App Store and highly demanded apps in Mac App Store. As it comes from numerous reports, developers who try to log into their iTunes Connect account see third-party apps and cannot find their applications meaning they are identified under someone else’s username.

When the 2015 problem with iTunes Connect is going to be fixed, we don’t know. But Apple is surely working on it and will soon provide a solution to the issue making its program display correct information for iOS and OS X developers.

How to Unlock iCloud DNS Using iCloudDNSBypass Server

Is there a way that allows you using a locked iPhone while you are trying to fully bypass your iCloud Activation lock feature? Have you heard of iCloud DNS unlock? This is exactly what you need when for some reasons your iDevice [either iPad or iPhone] asks for the passcode which you can’t remember or get from the previous owner.

We won’t list all the reasons why the Activation Lock option on iOS 7 or iOS 8 blocks your access to your Home screen. This post has a different purpose. It is written to help you partly bypass the lock until the professional services or Apple provides you with the complete bypass of iOS Activation lock.

Unlock iCloud DNS Using iCloudDnsBypass Server

There is the website where anyone who has a locked iPhone or iPad can partly bypass Activation lock for free. This server cannot fully unlock your gadget but it gives you the possibilities and options that are not available to those users who cannot get to their Home screen which keeps asking for the passcode.

What can you do using this DNS server?

Firstly, it allows you playing your iOS games. Secondly, it gives you a chance to take photos using your camera. Thirdly, with its help you can watch YouTube videos and even record videos to your Dropbox on the iCloud locked Apple iPhone 6 / 6 Plus / 5S / 5c / 5 / 4S or iPad.

The server is pretty popular. It has over 57,000 iDevices connected to it and more and more users join it since it supports all versions of mobile firmware, including iOS 8, iOS 7, iOS 6 and so on. The good news is that blacklisted iPhones are supported as well.

So if you have Find My iPhone feature ON in Cloud and doesn't have access to files on iPhone use this DNS routing method and enjoy!

Who has created iCloudDnsBypass server?

The idea and the DSN / HTTP servers belong to Ukrainian developer July Ighor. They are coded on C+++ and can hold thousands of gadgets with ease. The service is secure and doesn't use Proxy service. It usues DNS routing only.

To start using this DNS server that doesn’t ask for any additional servers that are believed to slow down Apple services, you have to download it [it supports Windows computers only] using this link. Here is a step-by-step instruction on how to use the server.

Shortly here is what you’ll have to do:

Step 1. Download the DNS Server in order to bypass iCloud Activation lock on the iDevice and install it.

Step 2. Click on your Home button and select More Wi-Fi Settings where you will see iCloudDnsBypass.

Step 3. Configure your local DNS server or use and you are good to go.

Issues and Fixes

If your provider doesn’t let you connect to custom DNS server after you tried to reboot, you can still use the dedicated DNS developed by July Ighor. After you launch the application you have to choose your context menu and just store local DNS IP to your iPhone or iPad. This should solve the problem.

Users who get error 80 while trying to connect to their local DNS IP should click on Help button and see what is possible to do [such error means that you have another application that is already using the same port].

That’s it. Enjoy iOS games, music, YouTube and record videos / take images to Dropbox even if you are iCloud locked for a while.

Shock: 240 iPhones 6 Stolen in China through a 20-inch Hole

Customers who purchase a brand new Apple smartphone start to think about how to protect iPhone from being stolen. Even with the introduction of iOS 8 in 2014 and iOS 7 in 2013 users who protect their gadget with the Touch ID 2-step Verification system understand that it could be possible to bypass Activation Lock and use the cell phone even if you are not its original owner.

The reports about iPhone 6 stolen gadgets always appear on the web. It can happen anywhere, and no one can guarantee that you will never lose your gadget. Some modern thieves become very creative and find the most unusual methods to steal popular devices. For example, three individuals in China managed to steal 240 new iPhones through a 20-inch hole. The total cost of these cell phones was around $230,000.

iPhone Stolen in China News

The recent report on the web states that three thieves broke into the warehouse in Beijing in mid-December to get their hands on over two hundred Apple iPhones in China. They did this through the hole in the wall that measured around 20 inches. The stolen gadgets were later resold and these people even spent most of the money they got.

Police traced the serial numbers of the stolen iPhones and caught the thieves.

You see that iPhones can’t be safe even in warehouses, so keep an eye on your smartphone to protect it from a potential thief.

Apple iPhone Still One of the Most Popular Smartphones in 2015

The high iPhone 6 demand isn’t slowing down. Customers around the world still want to order either iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus even months after its official launch back in September of 2014. The strong demand has been indicated by the survey, according to which users still want to have this gadget in the first quarter of 2015 while people also want Samsung gadgets.

What phone is the most popular in 2015? Apple and Samsung products are pretty popular these days. As survey respondents show, nearly 56 percent of them are planning to purchase the iPhone this year [in the next 3 months]. This doesn’t clear which iPhone 6 Plus / iPhone 6 popular model is more wanted by consumers but it gives you an idea how many users are dreaming about the seventh gen iDevice.

It is curious that most respondents [over 4,000 residents of North America were surveyed] wish to buy a gadget with the display that is bigger than 5-inches thus larger screens began to really interest customers. Users are looking at both Apple and Samsung phablets.

It is worth noting that another study shows that Kansas and Alaska consumers like the new iPhone more than any other U.S. state even though this product is the must-have for a lot of Americans now.

There are other places where iPhone is highly popular. The list of these states includes New York, Montana, Vermont and Mississippi along with Alaska and Kansas. The states with the lowest interest to the new ‘fruit’ gadget include Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin and Iowa.

iOS 8.1.3 Release: Update / Restore to iOS 8.1.2 While You Have Time

The official iOS 8.1.3 release date hasn’t been confirmed by Apple but experts expect this launch to become public any day soon. It is true that iOS 8.1.3 update is imminent, and while it can be introduced pretty soon you still have time to update or restore iOS 8.1.2.

Why would you like to run the firmware 8.1.2 before iOS 8.1.3 release is official? No one knows if iOS 8.1.3 jailbreak can be available along or after the upgrade. Developers will not be surprised if Apple patches the exploits used in PP Jailbreak and TaiG. Fans of Cydia tweaks might like to get prepared for iOS 8.1.3 update by restoring or updating to iOS 8.1.2 right away, while there is still time for this.

Some iPhone and iPad users are still running different versions of iOS 7 firmware. It is better for you to install 8.1.2 which can also be jailbroken [don’t worry, most jailbreak tweaks have been already updated to support this operating system].

Anyone who installed 8.1.2 version through OTA-update should restore to this version using iTunes. It is important for future jailbreak as issues can be caused for anyone who prefers OTA to iTunes installation.

Even if you have updated to iOS 8 or 8.1.1 already, you are advised to now upgrade to 8.1.2. This firmware fixes previous bugs and brings some new features.

Note that as soon as Apple launches 8.1.3 firmware it can stop signing the previous release and you will lose the chance to update. With the iPhone giant it is always better to prepare for the next upgrade.

Here is how to install iOS 8.1.2 on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Use iMALLFail Tweak If You Cannot Send Message Using iMessage

If you cannot send message using iMessage with media, as Apple company restricted users to the type of files user can send through Message. You’re only allowed to send photos and videos as well as audio messages that were just recorded in the Messages app. But there is one way out, iMAllFile is a new jailbreak tweak that aims to get rid of all these restrictions.

After you has installed this tweak, it will allows you to send any type of file to your contacts from iMessage using iOS’s filesystem. In the conversation interface it puts a new icon to the Navigation Bar. After its launching, it opens your device’s filesystem where you can navigate through folders and find the file which you want to send.

Once you choose it, the file will be insert in the text field where you normally type your message. You can then click on the Send button to send the file to the recipient. Please note that this tweak works only with iMessage. If you try to send a file as an SMS, it will crash the Messages app.

iMAllFile gains another feature, it adds a new preference pane to the stock Settings app where you can enable or disable this tweak on demand. It also has no settings to configure it, so once you’ve installed it and enabled the tweak, you can start to use it immediately.

For some time iMAllFile was pulled from Cydia by the developer because of issues. But now it works properly on jailbroken iOS 8.1.2 and lower device..

So if you cannot send message using iMessage with media, try iMAllFile for $0.99 from Cydia’s BigBoss repository. The tweak supports both iOS 7 and iOS 8 devices.

Apple Stops Sales of iPhone and iOS Products in Part of Ukraine

Apple sales in 2015 will continue without a part of Ukraine as the company announced that it stops selling iPhone, iPad and other gadgets, iOS apps, games and anything else on iTunes and the App Store in Crimea. Such Apple news follows the report about the price increase on iOS applications in Europe and Russia and termination of the RAD agreements with devs from Crimea.

Starting on February 1, 2015, Apple stops sales in Crimea. Physical retailers there already get emails from the company that they must stop sales of the company’s goods and no longer ship anything related to iPhones and other ‘fruit’ products and services. Everything has to be finalized by the end of January.

The sanctions announced by the U.S. Government on the Crimea Region affected local Apple sales, services and even iOS developers.

The major sanctions against the part of Ukraine [Crimea used to be a part of the country until 2014 when it became a part of Russia] were also supported by the European Commission.

Different companies stop doing business in this area, and this doesn’t only include Apple. What do you think about the changes? Of course, the sales in Crimea never brought huge revenue and Apple is currently basing its strategy around Asian regions, including China, South Korea and Japan. This is where the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus became extremely popular in the end of 2014 and continue to be a highly demanded smartphone in 2015.

How to Speed Dial on iPhone 6 with iOS 8 [Instruction]

Users who didn’t update to the most recent Apple firmware yet can now install iOS 8 by following this instruction. Even though iOS 7 Notification Center was pretty cool and offered different options, iOS 8 offers even more. Here is how to speed dial on iPhone 6 in case you are new to this smartphone and on earlier models of Apple smartphones in case you have just updated to iOS 8 or 8.1.2.

The instruction is not difficult. It won’t take much time to complete the guide.

How to Add Speed Dial on iOS 8 Device

Step 1. Using one widget you can add your favorite contacts to your Notification Center. Download Swipe Dial [Google it or follow this link]. It is possible to add three contacts without paying anything for the service.

Step 2. Launch the widget. You will see Add Contact option. Click on it.

Step 3. Select the contact you use the most. Remember that you’ll be able to add up to three speed dial numbers to access them from anywhere in iOS 8.

Step 4. Create the order for your three free numbers and turn the widget on. You should now see the contacts in Today view of your iPhone Notification Center.

Step 5. You can now enable the Notification Center and click on the contact you wish to call.

Sadly, it is impossible to message / FaceTime the contacts added with the help of the Swipe Dial.

If you haven’t update to iOS 8 you can compare the possibilities of iOS 7 vs. iOS 8.

iOS Telegram Messenger Gets Quick Reply Option [Jailbreak Tweak]

Some iPhone users like the updated iOS Whatsapp messaging application while others choose different platforms for texting with friends. Those of you who are using iOS Telegram messenger and are jailbroken might like to get the new Telegram Quick Reply option that can be installed on the iDevice through the jailbreak tweak called Envelope.

Telegram has no built-in Quick Reply so you are not able to fix this issue on iOS 8 on your own. Thanks to dev Noeliel there is the tweak that addresses the problem and solves it for iPhone 6 / 6S / 5S / 5c / 5 and 4S owners who have jailbroken with TaiG or other methods.

Once you install the jailbreak application you will find that you are able to reply to messages from anywhere within the firmware version. Envelope brings features that are similar to the stock Messages options. The next time you get a message through Telegram, just swipe down from your Notification Banner and you’ll be able to respond with ease. The text field will appear and you’ll get a chance to type your message and then send it.

All Telegram users should like this extra feature. Being able to respond from iOS 8 Notification Center and Lock screen is pretty cool and it does make your messaging experience faster and simpler.

The only problem is the tweak’s cost. Envelope is sold on BigBoss repo [Cydia store] at $1.49. Will you pay this much for the simple feature or is it easier to install the stock Messages app instead?

Real Original Apple Watch Video Published on the Web

While different Chinese companies are selling fake Apple Watch rip offs, users can take a look at the original Apple Watch device. The video has been posted online and anyone who is interested in the ‘fruit’ products might be curious to peer inside the real Cupertino-based company’s world of gadgets.

The history of Apple didn’t begin with the iPhone. The firm tried to release different phone products but only the iOS smartphone became highly demanded and popular. The same thing can be said about Apple Watch device. This is not the first try in the watch category and back in the 90s, Apple brand wrist watch was a classic wearable that didn’t repeat the success of the iPhone or iPod touch.

This Apple Watch video shows the gadget that was released years ago. It was designed with a blue bezel, circular dial, colorful Apple logo and had no numbers. You couldn’t buy it on its own because the gadget was not sold individually. The company gave it as a freebie to users who purchased the Mac OS nearly 20 years ago.

All these models are sold out by now. But you can still watch the video and get an idea what Apple created in the past:

iPhone 6 Clone on Sale for $115 in China

Different Chinese companies do their best to release clone of Apple devices that closely resemble the original device, but they mostly fail to repeat it and create a solid and reliable gadget. This year the new iPhone 6 clone on Android that was created by OEM is probably one of the best rip off of the iOS new-gen model.

This iPhone 6 clone for sale is called Gold-East. The model MS937 is sold for $115 which is surely less than the original iDevice. OEM launched different iPhone clones but this time it managed to do something similar-looking.

When you look at the clone’s front you can see something very similar to the Apple product. But once your eyes go down to the Home button you can realize that something is wrong with this Apple gadget. It has no outline of silver / gold color and you finally understand that you are looking at the clone or iPhone 6 copy.

The device has a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution. It features a 5 Megapixel camera, 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and the chip created by MediaTek.

What do you think about the iPhone 6 clone price? Is it worth getting something that is just a rip off when you can’t purchase the original gadget or not?

The First Fake Apple Watch Sold for $260 on eBay

What will Apple Watch price be? The real gadget should be unveiled in the spring of 2015, and while the company is still thinking about its cost for customers some Chinese sellers are eager to get rid of fake Apple Watch prototypes and earn well on such deals.

Would you ever choose Apple Watch buy online offer on eBay of this is said to be the ‘prototype’ even though its images don’t remind of the ‘fruit’ design? Someone was eager and paid $260 for the fake device in early 2015.

Firstly, Shenzhen company started to sell fake Watch at CES. Then a listing of this ‘prototype’ appeared on eBay. It was gone pretty soon. Just hours, and the seller found a buyer who agreed to pay $260 for the cheap knockoff from China. Whoever got it probably doesn’t even know this device is fake.

According to the seller, he got the ‘real prototype’ from a cousin who works at the iOS giant. But this information doesn’t seem to be real. You can look at the pictures of the watch yourself and it will become obvious to you that this device is not original at all.

Is a fake replica worth over $200? Maybe some customers think it’s cool to get the product before its official launch even if the device is not real.

iOS 8 and Family Sharing Add 1 Million New iBooks Customers a Week

iOS 8 along with Family Sharing feature was introduced back in September, 2014. The new platform and its options quickly became popular. More than half of active iPhone and iPad devices are running iOS 8 and its versions. Now Apple news mentions that the company’s iBooks gets nearly 1 million new consumers each week thanks to the update.

Such iBooks news can mean only one thing. Being a popular iOS company Apple is now becoming a high demanded source for digital content. It successfully develops its iBooks platform and attracks more and more readers thanks to both iOS 8 Family Sharing and the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

As iBooks Store Director [Keith Moerer] mentions, this app is preinstalled on the new smartphones and tablets that are running iOS 8. Users not only have it but also use it. At least, the company reports that it sees nearly 1 million new customers a week since September, 2014.

Users are more eager to purchase iBooks thanks to Family Sharing option which allows family members sharing the files and content they buy with up to six accounts.

Who is reading more? As Moerer says, Japan is leading here. This is the quickest growing market for iBooks. The market in Canada also grows well. Nothing was said about U.S. readers but judging by the high sales in the App Store in the first week of 2015 and the incredible demand for the iPhone 6 and other smartphones, a lot of Americans also like to read iBooks.

Notable iPhone iOS 8.2 Beta 4 Features

Let's investigate the iOS 8.2 beta 4 features that was released to developers just a day back. As an every new update that comes for developers it was launched with the usual bug fixes and such, there are some of other new and notable additions to the release. The main feature of this update is Apple Watch support, with a new addition shows that’ll eventually allow Apple Watch owners to connect their favorite iPhone with their wearable.

The WatchKit SDK has been already rolled out by Apple company, that is the huge enrichment of the new platform. And together with Apple Watch that will be on sale this spring, the groundwork is already underway to ensure that iPhones are ready to sync with the smartwatch right out of the box.

Certainly, fluidity is the thing which we’ve expected not only from iOS itself, but from the entire Apple ecosystem and product line. Concerning these early indications revealed in iOS 8.2 beta 4, it seems pairing devices with Apple Watch will be do in the simplest way.

Another one of iOS 8.2 beta 4 features is Bluetooth support for the Apple Watch, and references to a dedicated Apple Watch app.

Together with Bluetooth settings, there’s also now a menu dedicated to pairing with Apple Watch. And as Apple Watch is not yet out to the public, developers won’t be able to use this options. This new menu does introduced a snippet of process how everything will come together when it does.

Due to rumors the Apple Watch will only sync with iPhones when the dedicated companion app is installed on all devices. But there were nothing officially announced. But the Bluetooth settings panel also includes a command directing users "go to the Apple Watch app" if they wish to pair iPhone with Apple Watch.

So, it seems like it will certainly be an Apple Watch app and tweak the experience using their larger-screened iPhones

iOS Apps with No Backdoor Access to Be Banned in the UK

Any iOS app without backdoor access might be banned from the UK. In the light of a big tragedy in Paris [France] the UK Prime Minister promised to ban any encrypted messaging app [iOS, Android or any other platform] and these are not just words to scare developers and big companies.

Inside the U.S. different companies find themselves under the spotlight in terms of smartphone and tablet encryption. The same thing happens now in the United Kingdom. The horrible events that happened in the satire magazine Charlie Hebdo office and later in the capital of France [three terrorists killed 17 people within three days] last week shocked the world.

Now the UK government wishes to get the backdoor access to any encrypted iOS app or any other messaging service, chat etc. If they can’t get such an access, the programs might be banned from the country.

What iOS applications can this include? The list is pretty long, and it includes Apple’s iMessage service, WhatsApp, SnapChat and tons of other titles.

The UK might not be the only country that will take serious different means of communications from now on. Maybe the words of Prime Minster David Cameron are just a part of his re-election process. People value their security but will they allow the government to access any conversation with ease?

It will surely be interesting to follow the news and find out what happens next.

The U.S. government figures have been talking about encryption for a while. Different structures raise their concerns regarding app encryption on mobile devices. Apple ensures that no one can access its client’s messages, but will we ever know the truth?

Apple Fixes Its 14 Day Refund Policy in the EU

The recently introduced Apple 14 day return policy for UK and EU users which happened in the beginning of 2015 could make it possible for customers to purchase paid iOS 8 apps and games, play and use them for up to 14 days and return asking for the refund [but not deleting the application from the smartphone or tablet and keep using it for free without the possibility to update].

Apple has fixed this and offers some steps that should prevent people from abusing Apple 14 day refund policy. The Cupertino-based giant has decided to take the right to request refund for customers who have a track record of abusing this option.

iPhone and iPad owners who will use the 14-day refund option often will see a pop-up message when they purchase a new book, app or game through the App Store. It will tell them they have to give up the right on getting the refund for the application later on. In other words, anyone who abuses the rule too often will not be able to use the return possibility in the future.

There will be no way to overcome the pop-up message, because if you select ‘Cancel’ when you are asked to give up the refund option you will not buy the program until you agree to ‘Buy’ and never return it.

It’s a smart step from Apple as it helps to protect iOS 8 developers and the whole ‘fruit’ ecosystem carefully created and improved by the Cupertino-giant for many years in a row.

What do you think about such changes?

Must-See iPhone 6 Plus vs. Nexus 6 Comparison

The fall of 2014 was an important time for both Google and Apple, since these two companies released their phablets that became popular among customers. This is iPhone 6 Plus vs. Nexus 6 comparison you must see before you decide which smartphone to buy. The post is created for users who hesitate and like both gadgets.

Since the devices have similar price, potential buyers need to know what they can get before choosing between Apple and Google giants.

Compare iPhone 6 Plus and Nexus 6

Phablets Design

iPhone 6 Plus reminds of other Apple smartphones. It is just a bigger version of iPhone 6 in metal case. It looks luxurious and it brings you elegance and simplicity.

Customers who already got Nexus 6 find it looking less premium. It weighs more than iPhone 6 Plus [184g compared to 172g]. It is also bigger than its competitor [159mm x 83mm x 10mm compared to 158mm x 78mm x 7.1mm].

Both smartphones have weak and strong sides here. But it’s hard to compare the Retina HD display and quad HD display. The iOS device has a 5.5-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 and 401ppi while the Google gadget has a 6-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 and 493ppi.

Apple uses more realistic colors in its iPhone than Google thanks to its IPS display technology. The Nexus tends to distort colors [just a bit but this plays a role when you choose your device]. If you like to view photographs and images, the ‘fruit’ gadget wins over Nexus 6.

iOS 8 and Android 5.0

Both smartphones are easy to update to the newer firmware so it’s up to you which one to choose. Apple and Google have tons of apps and games for their platforms. Compare two OS and decide which one you like more.

OS Security

Apple has always been valued for high security even though sometimes you can hear about malware and attacks on its firmware. The company added Touch ID fingerprint scanner to its iPhone 6 Plus which also allows making quick purchase through Apple Pay service in the U.S.

Lollipop is also protected by Google but Android is easier to catch malware than iOS. It has anti-malware options but Apple is the safer bet.

Both gadgets can stay only 8-9 hours on one charge so these smartphones can’t often much here. Still this is ok for most modern smartphones.

This is an important factor for customers when they compare iPhone 6 Plus vs Nexus 6 and can’t decide which one to buy. Apple’s A8 chip is much faster than 6 Qualcomm Snapdragon on Nexus, at least, both Suspider and Geekbench tools that can test smartphone’s performance showed better results for iOS device.

If you are much into web browsing and playing 3D games you should better choose Apple’s product since Google’s gadget will either heat up or slow down or both.

Apple wins here once again because it offers iPhone 6 Plus in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB of storage while Google sells only 32GB and 64GB Nexus 6.

One more thing to note is that iOS device is more expensive than Android phablet.

You might also like to compare iPhone 6 to iPhone 5S.

Sims 4 For Mac Release Date Settled For February

From the Electronic Arts's report "Sims 4" for Mac release date will be in February. Some time ago the game house had promised a 2014 release for the hit app on Mac, after they launched it for the PC. But they didn't keep their promise.

The Sims 4 is a life simulation video game. It was published by Electronic Arts and developed by EA Maxis and The Sims Studio. This game was originally announced on May 6, 2013, and was launched in North America on September 2, 2014 for Microsoft Windows.

As for Mac release, Electronics Arts said that they didn’t have a specific date in February, just that it would launch during the month and be similarly priced to the PC version at $50. At present time for free PC owners of the game will get a copy of the Mac version. Although EA representatives were not able to confirm if future customers will get any sort of “cross-buy” opportunity.

The game concept is the same as in its predecessor “The Sims 3". Like the rest of the series the game does not have a defined final goal. The gameplay is nonlinear. The players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships.

In this version the Create-a-Sim and Build Mode tools have been redesigned to let more variety when creating game content. Emotional state plays a major role in gameplay than in previous games in the series, with effects on social interaction, user interface, and personality.

If you are keen on this game wait for "Sims 4" for Mac release date in February.

App Store Gets New ‘Games for Kids’ Section for iOS Apps

Users who are searching for games for preschoolers on iPhone or need to quickly find iOS apps for kindergarten or any other applications for children get a new sub-section added to the App Store [did you hear about record January sales?] specifically for these needs. The Cupertino-based company has updated its digital store with the new sub-category called Games for Kids.

When Apple released iOS 7 in 2013 it also added Kids category to its App Store, and now, in 2015, the iPhone maker decides it’s time to add a sub-section specifically for games.

When you launch iTunes or App Store on the iPad or iPhone you can choose Kids menu and select the new sub-category. Once Games for Kids is up you can see three divisions which make it simpler for parents to find programs for their little ones.

Games for kids [free download and paid programs] are divided into age categories. You can find apps for children under 5 years old, for kids aged 6-8 and 9-11. The sub-section shows the names for all ages so it is simple to segregate iOS 8 applications for particular age.

What role do games and apps play in developing modern children? Apple has highlighted the iBook that describes this to parents. Right now you can find Family Time book at the top of Games for Kids category.

When choosing apps and games for iOS 8 platform you can also see which programs support in-app purchase feature and which don’t have it.

How to Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 with PP Jailbreak on Mac [Instruction]

This is an instruction that explains how to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 on Mac using the new PP Jailbreak that has just been released by a group of hackers from China. Chinese devs continue to surprise iPhone and iPad users and give another tool that supports the latest public version of Apple mobile software.

There are two iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak Mac solutions. One is TaiG group from China and the second one is PP Jailbreak. Follow the instruction and become jailbroken. Just like any other tool, this one supports the same models that can run iOS 8, including iPhone 4S, 5, 5c, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus.

How to Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 with PP Jailbreak

Step 1. Make sure your Mac is running OS X 10.7 or a newer version of operating system.

Step 2. Back up your iDevice. Just as always, use iTunes or iCloud for this purpose.

Step 3. Turn off firewall and anti-virus on Mac.

Step 4. Process with caution because well-known hackers said nothing about the safety of the new tool which was released by hackers who are not known.

Step 5. PP Jailbreak can be downloaded from here [some users assure it works, but you are still doing this at your own risk].

Step 6. Use the USB to connect your iPhone or iPad to Mac.

Step 7. Launch Settings app to turn off Passcode in Touch ID & Passcode menu and disable Find My iPhone in iCloud section.

Step 8. Launch the PP iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak by double clicking on the file you have downloaded.

Step 9. When the program is launched you have to uncheck the box at the bottom. If you don’t do this the Chinese app store with pirated apps and possible viruses will be installed on your iPhone.

Step 10. To start the jailbreaking just press on the center button.

Step 11. There will be another button [it will appear on the next page]. Click on it to continue. It tells that you have to turn off passcode and Find My iPhone which you have already done.

Step 12. Everything will happen automatically. Your smartphone will reboot and then you’ll see Cydia on your Home screen.

Step 13. Now, as you are jailbroken you should turn on your passcode option and Find My iPhone app. You should also re-enable your anti-virus and firewall.

You Can Send All Types of Files with iMessage on iOS 8 iPhone [Jailbreak Tweak]

There are a lot of ways how to send different files using iMessage, but they also make you first jailbreak iOS 8 iPhone or iPad because Apple originally doesn’t allow users sending anything they want through its built-in apps. Here is how to send large files through iMessage along with audio files, documents and any other type of file. Use the jailbreak tweak and follow the instruction.

Thanks to iOS 8 jailbreak tweaks iDevice owners can customize their gadgets to their needs and taste. You can send just anything if you know which program to download from the Cydia store. We won’t tell you how to send audio files via iMessage because this can be done without jailbreaking.

How to Send All Types of Files with iMessage

Step 1. You should install iMAllFile which costs $0.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. It supports both iOS 8 and older iOS 7 gadgets.

Step 2. Now you can launch iMessage to send files. There will be a new icon in the Navigation Bar. Click on it and you will access your filesystem. Search through folders and attach files you wish to send your contacts.

Step 3. The selected file will appear in your text field [just where you usually type messages]. Click on Send to share the file with your contact.

The tweak also adds a pane to your Settings. This is where you can turn it on and disable. There are no additional menus since this application is pretty simple and easy-to-use.

At present time it is unknown what new features the firmware will bring, but the only thing we know it’ll enable support for WatchKit. Although, for those who are not acquainted with the Apple Developer Program, iOS 8.2 beta 4 will likely gain a number of performance enhancements together with the usual array of bug fixes.

Together with iOS 8.2, Apple company is also testing a minor iOS 8.1.3 update, that will be released before iOS 8.2 is launched to public in the near future. Although we also do not know the release date. But as long as 8.2 enables WatchKit, it’s seems that we’ll see it around the Apple Watch launch which is slated for March.

Awesome iOS 9 Concept with New Settings [Watch Video]

The next WWDC 2015 will be held in June, but iOS 9 rumors already surface along with iOS 9 concept that shows the new Home screen, updated Settings, Night Mode and other interesting ideas. Apple is definitely working on its new firmware version, but developers and users will learn the truth about it only in several months from now.

The official iOS 9 release date will be sometime in the fall of 2015. Till then you can only dream and imagine what you’d like to change in this mobile operating system for iPhone and other iDevices.

The concept we want to share with you was created by Ralph Theodory. It is posted on YouTube and anyone can see what the designer meant and how he sees the next iOS 9:

The concept for iOS 9 by Theodory features some fun options. For example, you can close all iOS applications by one swipe from up the screen in your application switcher. Something similar is now possible only on iOS 8 jailbroken devices that have useful Cydia tweaks on them.

The imaginative firmware also has the Night mode which allows to adjust the brightness to your comfortable level while reading in the night.

The designer also thought about Settings application where he added search option and history of changes which you can revert back.

The iOS 9 Home screen reminds of the not-yet-released Apple Watch. This won’t probably happen, but this is a concept anyways.

Have you watched the video? Do you like such changes?

Apple Deactivates iTunes App Auto Renew Option in Europe

iTunes app auto renew feature has been deactivated in the European App Stores in 2015. This happened because of the price hikes in different countries across Europe. The feature was pretty cool as it allowed automatically auto-renew your app without having to remember to pay your monthly fees.

There is no need to search for how to turn off auto renew iTunes account option for some iOS apps because the option has been cancelled for some customers. The regional changes in the App Stores that were implemented by the Cupertino-based company earlier this year lead to iTunes auto renew cancel.

Local exchange rate fluctuations and new taxes affected the automatic renew process for the applications which experience changes in pricing.

It might not be comfortable for users who require this option, especially when they subscribe for something inside the application. But the price might change and no one can tell you how it can change in a couple of weeks from the moment you signed up for the iOS app. In other words, you’ll have to renew everything manually and maybe pay different price each month.

Frustration might come to users who can lose their monthly subscription because of the changes.

Apple A9 and A10 Chip Manufacturer List for 2015-2016 Predictions

Ming-Chi Kuo who is well-known for his accurate predictions regarding Apple products shares his ideas on Apple A9 processor and future A10 chip production. This analyst from KGI Securities closely follows each step of the ‘fruit’ company and he shared a new report where he outlines the expectactions about Apple chip manufacturer names for 2015 and 2016.

According to Kuo, there will be a diversified supplier lineup for the iPhone and iPad A-series processors. The iOS giant is predicted to continue working with Samsung, TSMC and GlobalFoundries to produce the parts for its products.

Apple chip supplier for the A9 processor is believed to be shared between GlobalFoundries and Samsung in 2015. At the same time TSMC should work on the A9X production that should appear in the next-gen iPad versions.

Apple A10 chip production will continue in 2016. However, TSMC will be responsible for the A10 processors for the new iPhones and Samsung will handle the production of the A10X chips for the iPad line.

The company itself should be working on the chip design for its future ARM-based Mac computers. This might happen in a year or two from now.

So while Apple is focusing on its own AP development, other suppliers will work on its A-series chips for iDevices.

This report doesn’t mean that everything happens this way. These are just rumors and predictions made by an analyst who guessed a lot of previous changes.

Here are some of the predictions made by Ming-Chi Kuo.

China Sells Fake Apple Watch Versions at CES

While the Cupertino-based company is only planning to present its new product this spring, one Chinese firm is already selling fake Apple watch at CES. Such reports are published everywhere on the web. It is said that Hyperdon [this company is based in China] offers fake Hyperdon Smart Watch that reminds of the future Apple Smart Watch gadget.

It is not a secret that there are many fake Apple products in China. Local customers can buy fake iPhone 6 and other models of the ‘fruit’ smartphones and tablets. Of course, fake gadgets cost less and this is why a lot of people purchase them.

As noted by those who got a chance to buy the fake watch at $27, this device works only when it is on. Otherwise its display doesn’t even show the time. The gadget’s icons are ripoff iOS designs, and you can even try to make calls and listen to iPhone music through the watch though this can be a headache as the fake device can’t pair too well.

The device makes you download one weird APK that works with jailbroken iOS smartphones only. You can get notifications from different applications, and, according to Hyperdon, its product can be charged through USB cable and work up to 180 hours from one charge [this statement hasn’t been tested yet].

While you can’t buy the counterfeit device in the U.S. it is available in China.

Can App Store Return Policy Make Paid Applications Free to Customers?

The newly introduced iOS 8 app return policy could mean something else. Users who purchase apps and games in App Store and are able to return then within the 14 days after purchase could keep the program on their iDevice anyway, at no additional cost.

Is it a new way on how to get iOS apps for free without jailbreaking? The European standard makes the Cupertino-based company allow consumers getting a 14-day window open up for a refund.

Experts think that this could mean another return iOS app problem. If the person buys an application, uses is for several days and decides to return [the 14-day window makes it possible to get your refund], he or she can actually continue using the program until deciding to uninstall the app. Who can control users and make sure they uninstall the iOS 8 app right after they announced they want their money back?

It looks like you can buy apps without removing them [and being not able to update them to the newer version] and nothing happens in case you don’t delete the application you were granted the refund for. In other words, you can use paid games and apps for free for as long as you wish.

The same thing can be done with music, iBooks and other software purchased through iTunes or App Store. The Cupertino-based giant can do nothing about the 14-day return option because such a law is instituted by the EU. Will Apple do anything about controlling users who asked for the refund or not?

Devs and artists might have to rely on human honesty and integrity, otherwise, they can lose their money for good.
