Apple Commented on Celeb iCloud Pictures Leaked Issue

Finally Apple has commented on the recent celeb iCloud pictures leaked online. While experts and users believed that there was Apple iCloud hack created by someone, the company assures that this leak has no iCloud breach background.

While you are still advised to protect yourself from possible leaks in the future by turning off all the options in iCloud you don’t want to use [for example, you can disable automatic photo syncing and this way your iPhone and iPad photographs won’t appear in your iCloud account], Apple says there was no Find My iPhone hack as most people thought. The breach didn’t exist while there were hackers who had a targeted attack on famous accounts, passwords and security questions.

Apple press release comments on the theft of famous people’s pictures from their iCloud accounts. The company states that its engineers were given a task to find the source of the possible leak but the 40 hours of investigation revealed a huge targeted attack on celeb names, security questions and passwords.

The last weekend over one hundred of nude celeb iCloud pictures leaked and appeared on 4chan forum and later on different websites. The criminals are identified yet, but Apple suggests all users should change their password making it stronger. The company also advises customers to turn of the 2-step verification option so that such hacking attacks become unsuccessful in the future.

What to Do Before iOS 8 Jailbreak Is Launched to Public

There is now iOS 8 jailbreak yet, but once Apple officially releases this firmware major update hackers might offer fast iOS 8 jailbreak release date. It could happen so that users would have to wait for a couple of months before the exploits are found and launched.

While Apple is preparing for its iPhone 6 launch and iOS 8 update, you can also prepare for iOS 8 jailbreak and do some things you can do beforehand. This should help you to easily update and jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

The new firmware will have a lot of interesting features not present in iOS 7 and 6 and a lot of improved options from the current seventh version. The rumors point to September iOS 8 upgrade with iPhone 6 launch. Apple is updating its firmware betas which developers are testing and you can wait for iOS 8 jailbreak launch date being prepared for both update and jailbreak.

It’s Time to Prepare for iOS 8 Jailbreak Release

Step 1. Take a look at the screenshots of iOS 8 revealed by devs. Learn more about this firmware and decide whether you wish to update once it becomes public. This is simple to do as there is a lot of information on all the changes that are upcoming this fall. Some users even install beta versions to see what's new and will be brought to everybody this September.

Step 2. Users who think they do not want to update to iOS 8 are better to update right now, till this firmware becomes public and official. As soon as Apple launches iOS 8 to users you will find it very difficult to update to earlier version.

Step 3. You are also advised to back up your iPhone or iPad as each year a lot of people lose their pictures and other important information while updating because of some unexpected errors. Don’t follow their fortune and protect yourself from losing your files.

Step 4. Update your games and applications that require an update. This way you’ll save much time in the future.

Step 5. Get rid of all the apps you don’t need any more since OTA update for iOS 8 will require much free space on your iDevice.

Step 6. Think of the features you wish to get along with iOS 8 jailbreak as some of them you might get on iOS 7 after untethered jailbreak. Be prepared for the public and official iOS 8 release and jailbreak before they are launched.

Apple Patches Hole in Find My iPhone App That Caused ID Leaks

Apple has reacted to the serious iCloud leak that unveiled hundreds of celebrity nude images online. The famous company is reported to finally patch the security hole that was discovered in the Find My iPhone application. This is believed to be the main source of ID and passwords that were obtained in order to steal some photos of famous people and make them public.

How Apple iCloud Hack with Celeb Pictures Was Possible

According to @hackappcom, the GitHub and iBrute concepts got a proof and celebs can sign with relief as no more nude pictures should appear online from now on. As noted on Twitter, “The end of fun” has come since Apple patched the code. It is believed that the special hack tool was uploaded to Github and it shared the weakness in the program. Luckily, this should be solved by now.

Some people who saw the naked pictures of famous people thought these were just Photoshopped fakes. But Jennifer Lawrence [Academy Award winner] confirmed that the naked photos were real, at least regarding personal leaks. Apple “refused to comment” on this iCloud flaw, as noted by The Independent.

Experts believe that attackers were simply guessing passwords to get the images from famous accounts. But now your Apple ID gets locked after you try to enter the password and get wrong for five times in a row. This is how the company patched the hole.

Remove iCloud Activation Lock and Protect Yourself from Hacks

You only have to find a company that can remove iCloud activation lock for your device and pay to get the service delivered to you. To protect your images you can either get iCloud remove service and connect your iPhone or iPad to a different account or disable options such as picture syncing. Everyone knows that today anyone can bypass iCloud activation lock on any iDevice thanks to distant services.

From one hand, this is really useful to customers who purchase used iPhones and iPads and update to iOS 7 without having the original owner’s ID and password. Since it is now hard to guess the password you should better ask professionals to hack iCloud activation lock and give you the access to your iDevice.

The service is delivered to whitelisted IMEIs only so make sure your device is not in the blacklist before you order it.
