How to Delete Songs and Music on iOS 7 iPhone / iPad

Some users come with a problem when they are unable to delete songs in Music app on the iPhone or Apple tablet device. Is there a fix to this problem? Yes, there is and you will learn about it inside this post. The walkthrough is not difficult to repeat so you should be fine soon.

iOS 7 is pretty buggy. Apple has fixed a lot of issues in the new iOS 7.1.1 presented last week. You can either try to install it on your iDevice or take the hints below to fix the issue without having to update. The trouble with deleting songs and music on the iPhone can drive you crazy. You are trying to swipe the tune to see the delete option available but it doesn’t appear so you cannot tap the song to have it disappeared.

Delete Songs via Music App on the iPhone [How to Guide]

Here is what you should do in order to successfully delete songs / music on iOS 7.

Step 1. Open Settings on the gadget.

Step 2. Select General – Usage menu.

Step 3. The Storage will upload now so wait for a couple of moments.

Step 4. Search for Music in the available list of options and click on it.

Step 5. Choose Edit feature [you will see in at the top].

Step 6. Press Delete and do it again to confirm your desire.

Step 7. You have successfully deleted all your songs on the iPhone or iPad.

Sadly, this option doesn’t allow you deleting only one or a couple of tunes. All the music will be gone.

iTunes Match songs and iTunes in the Cloud backup your songs on Apple servers. If you got stuck with some of your downloads the only thing you can do is delete all tracks. Once again, you can fix the problem easier by installing iOS 7.1.1 but this is working for those users who are ok without being jailbroken.

iOS 7.1.1 Update Bugs and Problems on iPhone and iPad

The presentation of iOS 7.1.1 earlier this week made a lot of iPhone and iPad users happy. Apple allows installing the operating system through OTA and direct links. Sadly, problems with iOS 7.1.1 still exist thought this firmware fixed a lot of previous bugs with FaceTime, keyboard and battery life.

iOS 7.1.1 update problems are reported by used during installation and after the upgrade. What troubles customers? What do users say about the performance of this software from Apple?

There are a couple of bugs. Firstly, some users report that the issues start when they are installing iOS 7.1.1 on the iPhone or iPad.

For example, Apple forums mention iOS 7.1.1 update bugs with iPhone 4. The person tried to install this version via Wi-Fi but failed for 2 days. The problem is said to be connected with Windows platform. Some Windows computers cannot identify the new upgrade from the Cupertino-based company. You can fix this problem by iTunes reinstallation.

Secondly, there were issue with bricked iPhone after updating to firmware 7.1.1. The user says that this issue couldn’t be solved with restoring information because the smartphone couldn’t restore.

These are not common problems. A lot of people enjoy the update and believe it is more stable and a lot better than previous firmware 7.1. Apple has to find a way how to deal with isolated problematic cases. What about you? Do you have any problems with the upgrade?

iPad Touch ID News Based on iOS 7.1 Code

The iPhone 5S with Touch ID sensor made a lot of users hoping to see the same features in the iPad lineup. Apple seems to working on this option and might actually present iPad with Touch ID fingerprint option in the future.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo [he is an analyst with KGI Securities company], customers can prepare for the soon release of Touch ID iPad mini and iPad Air. Both tablet devices should get the fingerprint sensor. This is just a prediction but it should come true. Maybe it will happen in the fall 2014. Maybe it will happen a bit later but this release will become real because Apple is always looking for more consumers and adding new features to its iDevices.

The fact that the Cupertino company is now working on adding iPad Touch ID option in 2014 was found by one iOSdev from France. Pierre Blazquez says that the iPhone maker has added the BiometricKit to its iOS 7.1 code. And this bundle proves that the Touch ID feature should be coming in the future firmware updates. It is compatible with iPhones and iPads.

Touch ID iPad Air and mini models have to be upgraded with this BiometricKit. It is just not clear yet when Apple is to implant the option to its iDevices. Maybe some real news will be shared during WWDC 2014 this June.

The lineup of the iPad should get the typical update in the fall. This could mean that the fall launch of the new generation gadgets from Apple might show both iWatch and iPad with Touch ID sensor.

You can use the links below to update to iOS 7.1.1 if you are already using iOS 7.1 and don’t think about jailbreaking. All users who wish to stay jailbroken should stay away from updating because hackers are still working on the jailbreak solution for these two versions of operating system.

Get iPhone 5S for Free from AT&T, Verizon and Sprint [U.S.]

While iPhone 5c was supposed to be the cheap and affordable colorful model of Apple smartphone, its 5S device had to be the premium expensive gadget that is now given out for free. Everyone who is locked to one of these three U.S. carriers, AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, can simply trade their iPhone 4S for iPhone 5S and pay not even a penny for the deal.

The offer comes from RadioShack source that is eager to accept any Sprint, Verizon and AT&T 2-year-contract iPhone 4S and instead provide the iPhone 5S for free to the user. This crazy deal should find a lot of users who are willing to save $100 as this is the subsidized price for this Apple handset device without the trade-in program.

U.S. Customers Can Trade iPhone 4S for iPhone 5S for Free

Of course, the offer comes several months before the iPhone 6 release. A lot of users are actually looking for this next smartphone. Rumors promise an improved cell phone with new features and iOS 8. No wonder you are offered to get iPhone 5S for free now.

Does this mean the popularity of the iOS gadgets is fading? Such policy is uncommon for previous handsets launched by Apple. People were eager to pay the full price or get the 2-year contract with further factory unlock for iPhone. It seems that the iPhone sales don’t grow as much as Apple wants them thus it came with the cheaper colorful offer first and the free iPhone 5S now.

This is the good time to buy this sixth-generation device for those who didn’t do it on Christmas because of the pricing. Wanna save some money on the glamour that is fading? Do it now as this is a great chance for customers who love Apple products and like to save money as well. Besides, rumors say that the company wants carriers to offer the next iPhone 6 $100 more expensive…

FaceTime Not Working on iOS 6 iPhone 4

FaceTime problems on Mac are not the only issues with this Apple program. It looks like FaceTime is not working on iOS 6 devices now as a lot of people share their worries about it on Apple support forums. User wish to find a way how to fix the problem without having to update to iOS 7. Even though millions of customers have already installed iOS 7.1 and previous releases of iOS 7 there are still many people who continue using older iOS 6 and feel ok with it.

Is There Factime Fix for iPhone 4 on iOS 6?

It looks like FaceTime is not working on iPhone 4 and 3GS. It allows getting phone calls for iPhone 5S / 5c / 5 users while older models with iOS 6 are not able to receive and place calls via this application. The problems began earlier this week. At least the first messages about problems with the calling program date back to the middle of April.

It’s hard to say what FaceTime fix for iOS 6 can be used as there is no information on Apple pages on how to solve this issue. Not everyone is affected by the problem. iOS 6.0.1 users report their gadget doesn’t run FaceTime while iOS 6.1.6 smartphones have no problems with using this app.

The support team of the Cupertino-based tech giant suggest customers who experience problems should install iOS 7 and the issue will be gone. Maybe this outage is to be resolved soon without need to upgrade to iOS 7 because a lot of people don’t want to solve the problem this way.

Besides, Mac users also have the similar error on OS X 10.8 software version.

iPhone Emulator for iOS Apps on Windows / Mac

Apple fans might sometimes like to play their favorite games and applications used on the iPhone and iPad on their PC or Mac. This is not as easy as you want it to be and you cannot just launch your iOS app on the computer because it will not work unless you know which emulator to download and install. To launch iPhoneapps on PC you need a good program otherwise the success cannot be guaranteed.

There are a lot of iPhone and iPad emulators for Mac / PC. They can run the popular iDevice applications on laptops and desktop computers.Choose the best iPhone emulator for Windows and you will have no more problems with using the programs you like on your machine.

You can take a look at iPadian program, for example, which is available at PCA Downloads. This source is reported as safe by MacWorld. This tool is created for all iOS applications and it is developed on Adobe AIR option.

Once you install this application on your computer you will see a window that reminds of the iPad screen on your desktop or laptop display. The iOS apps you will launch in this window will remind you of an iDevice gameplay experience.

Just don’t think that you will be able to play all your iPhone apps on Mac / PC because it is impossible to upload your iTunes or iDevice library of games and applications to iPadian. This program has its own library where you can select programs. Some titles are free to obtain and others are not free at all.

This is kind of a headache because users who think about playing iOS apps and games on their computer have on their mind some titles they really loved playing and they might not be present in iPadian. Anyways, this is just an alternative to your original gameplay. Give it a try and share your impressions with others.

iOS 7.1.1 Update to Fix Bugs on iOS 7 Devices

The next iOS 7.1.1 update should be coming soon as Apple looks to be preparing to release this minor upgrade version of its mobile operating system for iPhone and other iDevices. The software is expected to present numerous iOS 7 bugfixes for all customers who experience problems on their gadgets.

The new iOS 7.1.1 download is not available yet. Still experts and analysts note that Apple employees visit sites from iOS 7.1.1 gadgets in the Cupertino-based HQ. Past flashes of similar visits always resulted in the update launch.

As rumors say the iOS 7 bug fix release should be available in OTA update in the near future. In other words, users can be optimistic as such problems as Find My iPhone distant disabling, unexpected restores and iCloud removal should be gone after the iDevice maker introduces its upgrade. Right now people who leave their iOS 7.1 smartphone or tablet without a locked screen might end up losing it because it is possible to turn Find My iPhone and delete your iCloud account connection without ID and password.

The OTA update might be a good news to users who have installed the latest firmware version. As for the jailbreaking community, hackers advise to stay away from 7.1 and 7.1.1 update if you wish to be jailbroken. These two versions are currently non-jailbreakable in public.

iPhone 6 Display Size to Be Larger Here Is Why

The next iPhone 6 display size should be larger than the one of the iPhone 5S. We’ve heard a lot of rumors on this issue and it looks like the rumors might be real. As one Chinese case maker assures that new large-screen iPhone 6 is to exist. At least the case models showed by accessory maker Elam have a thin and bigger size compared to the current smartphone models.

There should be a lot of iPhone 6 features introduced by Apple as this company likes to add some extra options not available to its previous models for the next-gen releases. Customers are looking for miracles and get small portions of them with the line updates.

iPhone 6 Bigger Display Proved by Case Model

The image of the case was shared by one French source that obtained the pictures from Elam. This accessory looks to be designed for a bigger display and a very thin body of the smartphone. The case shows rounded corners and the switch for volume. The previous pics were different as they offered several volume buttons instead of one.

The next generation handset might be as thin as 6.5mm or 7mm. The display size is hoped to be either 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch. Some sources note that Apple is to release the one model at first and update the next model later on.

The Retina display resolution might be 1334x750 and 1920x1080 as suggested by Ming-Chi Kuo who analyses Apple products. The company could insert the A8 chip to its next line of well-known smartphones getting more options that can be handled by A6 processor.

Some iPhone 6 options are to include the 1GB of RAM, an improved Touch ID feature and different enhancements for camera etc.

iTunes music download to get high definition audio. Dramatic changes are promised for iTunes Music store, as reports state. The popular store might offer customers iTunes high definition audio files download. Besides, the company is expected to combat declining file downloads for the on-demand streaming service.

iDevice owners could get iTunes audio download in 24-bit res files. As one blogger, Rovert Hutton, suggests the famous Cupertino-based company will introduce high resolution music this summer. The new format could be presented at the WWDC event this June.

It is not clear where Mr. Hutton got this information but once iTunes audio download starts to offer hi-res files the price on such songs will surely go up. It is said that Apple has been asking labels for 96k and 192k sampling rate files for iTunes so it does have a huge catalog of high definition audio files.

Getting the high resolution store on iTunes in about 2 months will bring the company some benefits. The iPhone maker has begun this project in 2011, as rumors say. Right now users are able to purchase tunes and audio files in 16-bit lossy AAC format. The file sizes are minimized due to 256 kbps encoding.

The improved quality will bring more depth, details and bass to the downloads and the new file sizes will be larger. It might cost $1 more to download iTunes audio files after they are offers in a better quality than the traditional songs.

There are some tips you can use which includes playing with iOS 7.1 contrast and getting darken colors. Learn how you are able to tone down your iPhone and iPad visuals below.

The upgrade is a bit too white. Users can try toggling the settings. It might change the situation not too much but you can try it out. Some people who have used this tweak say it doesn’t go smooth. Apple doesn’t provide extra settings to manage colors of iOS applications and other things.

If you are jailbroken it is easier for you because of the popular F.lux tool. Sadly, iOS 7.1 is jailbroken by some hackers only and there is no program for public use. It is hard to say when we will see iOS 7.1 untether jailbreak release this year or next year. Hackers promise to launch dual-book for iOS 6 and 7 for now, and this not jailbreak a lot of people are expecting to get sooner than later.

Settings for iOS 7.1 Contrast / Darken Colors to Turn Down Brightness

As for the iOS 7.1 darken colors, you can improve the situation by taking these steps:

Step 1 Launch Settings app.

Step 2 Then you need to open General menu and go to Accessibility.

Step 3 Look for the option to Increase Contrast.

Step 4 Play with two options: Reduce White Point and Darken Colors. Toggle them on.

The changes are slight. If you are not satisfied, just wait till you can install F.lux or other tweaks and improve your brightness by lowing it down.

Dual-Boot iPhone iOS 7 and iOS 6 to Be Released

You might have heard that hacker @winocm triple-booted his iPad 2 which is capable of switching between the three operating system versions, including iOS 7, iOS 6 and iOS 5. He posted a video on YouTube showing this happening and he how promises to release a dual-boot iPhone tool to switch between iOS 6 and iOS 7. The release will be coming in the future.

Dual-Boot for iPhone for Easy Switch Between iOS 7 and iOS 6

Hacker has confirmed this news meaning we will get an opportunity to use two versions of Apple mobile firmware on iDevices. The hacker is going to become an Apple employee as reports say. It should happen this year. He said that the triple-boot is way too complex to release it as the software.

As hacker writes in this Twitter the dual-boot iOS 6 and 7 program will be available to jailbreaker “soon” but he doesn’t mention the exact date when such a tool is to be present to users.

It is not known when iOS 7.1 is to be added to the list of supported firmwares. It is jailbroken because hackers found a way to untether jailbreak iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with this operating system. But they have jailbroken their personal smartphones and are not hurrying to release the public jailbreak for iOS 7.1 any time soon.

All previous versions of iPhone and iPad OS can be jailbroken with Evasi0n7, Evasi0n and p0sixspwn tools. Maybe we could hear more about the dual-boot program during the hacker conference in April. We will share news with you as soon as we get them.
