The Chinese hackers who call themselves Pangu are now offering iOS 8 Pangu jailbreak update. The team has released the new version of their tool, v.1.0.1 that fixes some bugs but still supports only Windows platform. Mac users cannot use Pangu jailbreak iOS 8 – 8.1 update yet.
The first version of the program was taken down soon after its official launch. The update comes improved and should solve some of the problems found in the original version.

This program supports untethered jailbreak for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, earlier iPhone 5 / 5S / 5c and iPhone 4S. It also works on iPod touch 5 generation and iPad mini, iPad Air and iPad 2 / 3 / 4.
According to hackers from China, their jailbreak is mostly designed for developers so that they can update their hacks, tweaks and applications to support iOS 8. So jailbreak with Pangu 1.0.1 only if you definitely want to be jailbroken without bugs and not afraid of possible risks and bugs.
The tool allows accessing SSH. It comes without Cydia being automatically installed so if you dare to jailbreak you will have to manually install this unofficial app store.
Right now Pangu is available in Chinese only. Its English version should be available soon as well as the tool for Mac.
