How to Downgrade from iOS 7.1.1 to 7.0.4 or 7.1?

The new update for iPhones and iPads include firmware version 7.1.1. It fixed some bugs, brought new problems and cannot be jailbroken as there is no program that can untether jailbreak iPhone 5S, 5, 5c and 4S with this operating system version. Can you downgrade iOS 7.1.1 to previous version?

This question is now asked by many users who have somehow installed update or made it on purpose hoping to see good changes and more features. iOS 7.1.1 downgrade is complicated. As iPhone Dev team [famous hackers] explain Apple doesn’t sign older firmwares to prevent users from getting back to older OS versions.

Can I Downgrade iOS 7.1.1 iPhone to 7.1?

For example, it is impossible to downgrade iOS 7.1.1 to 7.0.4 thus you should better stay on iOS 7.0.4 in case you haven’t updated to newer version or you will lose jailbreak and the possibility to downgrade.

As hackers note, Apple changed the role of its APTicket making it change each time the handset is restored. Every boot causes it to change. The iPhone maker is the only company that can per-restore this APTicket. All replayed tickets cannot be used again.

In order to downgrade iOS 7.1.1 to 7.1 you have to restore. But your iBoot and LLB stages will be refined as they are dependable on the APTicket authenticity. Once the APTicket is not signed any more by Apple you cannot downgrade.

This has happened to the new iOS 7 versions. When hackers present the jailbreak solution for firmware 7.1 and 7.1.1 you will be able to downgrade using SHSH blobs saved for the version you want to get back to.
