How to Block Facebook Game Requests on iPhone

It becomes so annoying to receive requests for game items from your Facebook friends that you might like to stop getting Facebook game notifications on the iPhone or your iPad. This can be done with ease if you follow our step-by-step guide on how to block the unwanted requests.

There is no need to delete your friends or stop following them to solve the problem. Not many people actually realize they are spamming you and frustrating you. Here is how to block Facebook game requests on iPhone without losing your friends and other people from your list of friends.

Step 1. Open Facebook program on your iDevice.

Step 2. Click on the More option. It is located in the bottom of the screen.

Step 3. Go to Settings within the app and select Notifications menu.

Step 4. Choose Mobile Push option. You will see it right below How You Get Notifications menu.

Step 5. It is important to uncheck two features: Application Invites is the first one, and Application Requests is the second one.

Step 6. If you are frustrated with getting notifications for messages, emails etc. you can repeat the steps above to stop game / app requests in those programs as well.

It is also possible to disable Facebook game notifications on iPhone case-by-case. Here is how to do so:

Step 1. Open Facebook application on the iOS gadget.

Step 2. Find a symbol for the carat. It is located in the top right corner of your main news feed post.

Step 3. Select Hide All feature and point to the game you with to stop getting notifications from. It will stop sending requests to your news feed.
