Apple Extends iPad Trade-in Program to Europe

Apple trade in iPad offer is similar to the iPhone trade-in program launched in the U.S. and other countries where customers are offers the iPhone 5S and 5c instead of the older iPhone 4, 4S, 3GS and earlier models.

Apple customers from some European countries can trade iPad in the UK in Apple stores. The list of countries also includes Spain, Germany and France. Users from these four areas can take their older iPad model to the retailer store and participate in the trade-in program that makes it possible to recycle older gadget.

Apple stores offer credits for iPad trade-in program participants. It is possible to use these credits for future iOS gadget purchase. The news has been confirmed by French source iPhone Addict.fr and German site Apfelpage.de.

If you are going to trade your iPad in you should make sure it is in the working condition. You can recycle your iPad mini, iPad 2, 3 and 4. Only modern iPad mini with Retina display and iPad Air owners are out of luck as these gadgets cannot take part in the redemption.

We don't know at the moment how much Apple is going to pay for the recycled gadget in foreign countries. It is most likely that users from Europe will receive similar pricing as in the U.S.
