iPad Touch ID News Based on iOS 7.1 Code

The iPhone 5S with Touch ID sensor made a lot of users hoping to see the same features in the iPad lineup. Apple seems to working on this option and might actually present iPad with Touch ID fingerprint option in the future.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo [he is an analyst with KGI Securities company], customers can prepare for the soon release of Touch ID iPad mini and iPad Air. Both tablet devices should get the fingerprint sensor. This is just a prediction but it should come true. Maybe it will happen in the fall 2014. Maybe it will happen a bit later but this release will become real because Apple is always looking for more consumers and adding new features to its iDevices.

The fact that the Cupertino company is now working on adding iPad Touch ID option in 2014 was found by one iOSdev from France. Pierre Blazquez says that the iPhone maker has added the BiometricKit to its iOS 7.1 code. And this bundle proves that the Touch ID feature should be coming in the future firmware updates. It is compatible with iPhones and iPads.

Touch ID iPad Air and mini models have to be upgraded with this BiometricKit. It is just not clear yet when Apple is to implant the option to its iDevices. Maybe some real news will be shared during WWDC 2014 this June.

The lineup of the iPad should get the typical update in the fall. This could mean that the fall launch of the new generation gadgets from Apple might show both iWatch and iPad with Touch ID sensor.
