iOS 7.1.1 Update Bugs and Problems on iPhone and iPad

The presentation of iOS 7.1.1 earlier this week made a lot of iPhone and iPad users happy. Apple allows installing the operating system through OTA and direct links. Sadly, problems with iOS 7.1.1 still exist thought this firmware fixed a lot of previous bugs with FaceTime, keyboard and battery life.

iOS 7.1.1 update problems are reported by used during installation and after the upgrade. What troubles customers? What do users say about the performance of this software from Apple?

There are a couple of bugs. Firstly, some users report that the issues start when they are installing iOS 7.1.1 on the iPhone or iPad.

For example, Apple forums mention iOS 7.1.1 update bugs with iPhone 4. The person tried to install this version via Wi-Fi but failed for 2 days. The problem is said to be connected with Windows platform. Some Windows computers cannot identify the new upgrade from the Cupertino-based company. You can fix this problem by iTunes reinstallation.

Secondly, there were issue with bricked iPhone after updating to firmware 7.1.1. The user says that this issue couldn’t be solved with restoring information because the smartphone couldn’t restore.

These are not common problems. A lot of people enjoy the update and believe it is more stable and a lot better than previous firmware 7.1. Apple has to find a way how to deal with isolated problematic cases. What about you? Do you have any problems with the upgrade?
