How to Jailbreak iOS 7 Evasi0n7 Instruction for Windows and Mac

iOS 7 firmware can be jailbroken just like the previous iOS 6. Hackers from the Evad3rs team presented jailbreak iOS 7 Evasi0n7 tool that works on Linus, Mac and Windows performing untethered jailbreak for mobile devices with iOS 7.0 to iOS 7.0.4. iOS 7.1 that exists in beta versions now can also be jailbroken which sounds surprising as Apple likes to quickly kill exploits discovered in its platforms.

What You Need for Jailbreaking

* Windows PC or Mac
* iDevice with iOS 7, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3 or 7.0.4 [iOS 7.1 beta also works]
* iPhone 4 / 4S / 5 / 5c / 5S
* iPad mini [with or without Retina]

Note. Users who have installed iOS 7 through OTA update are advised to backup their device using iTunes and full restoring before jailbreaking.

Jailbreak iOS 7 iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch Using Evasi0n7

Step 1. Extract the file you have downloaded and launch Evasi0n as an administrator [through right-click option].

Step 2. Turn off passcode on your iDevice. You can do this through Settings – General where you select Passcode Lock – Turn Passcode Off.

Step 3. Connect iPhone / iPod / iPad to your computer.

Step 4. Evasi0n will find your gadget. Click Jailbreak to start the procedure.

Step 5. Wait till the program finishes its thing and shows you Evasi0n7 image on the Home screen. Click on it. This will finish everything.

Step 6. You will have to unlock your gadget and find Cydia on the iPhone / iPod touch or iPad.

The jailbreak is fast. It usually takes not longer than 5 minutes to jailbreak iOS7 with Evasi0n. The first releases of this program were buggy, but most problems have been fixed by hackers so you should be all right now.
